You are bidding on a gorgeous and rare 1956 Chevrolet Hardtop 2 Door True Bel Air. This gem was ground up restored about 8 years ago and has been well kept ever since. All of the original parts were kept and are included and are pictured.

To start off the paint and body were taken down to bare metal 8 years ago and repainted with PPG red and cortez silver. The paint job is a good 5 footer some areas are starting to show their age but there is no rust that I could find, ll the gaps are in good alignment, nd there are no waves or bondo that I could find. Most of the stainless and chrome was replaced at the time of restoration and are still in very good overall shape but do show some minor wear over the years but again nothing serious. The bumpers both front and rear were just replaced within the last year and still look like new as you can see in the pictures. The front windshield was replaced and looks like new, ost of the other glass is original and shows some aging but still looks good overall.

The interior was completely restored in a nice custom tan and black 2 tone. All the foam was replaced along with the hardware in both the front and rear seats. The carpet, ackage tray, eadliner, unvisors, oor panels, ill plates, eats covers, ash, rim, tc. were all replaced and are still in excellent shape as shown in the pictures. A new digital dash was just installed with the original dash included, verything works and the temp, olt, nd oil pressure are also on analog gauges for added peace of mind to monitor this beauty. The tach, as, peedometer, tc all work as they should and gives it a nice custom look to go along with the nice interior. I just had the entire wiper assembly gone through complete with a new wiper motor, witch, iring, tc and they work flawlessly. A complete brand new wiring harness was also installed at the time of the restoration and lights, urn signals, tc all work as they should. All of the windows roll up and down as they should including the rears.

Engine is a fresh rebuilt 355 Vortec with all the goodies, omp cam .520 lift, rw pistons, ink rods, olished crankshaft, .02 vortec heads with stainless valves, delbrock intake and carburetor, ei ignition, ouble roller timing chain, ust had a brand new high torque starter installed as well. Engine sounds nice and healthly and has about 375 horse, ets plenty of attention in the shows and has plenty of get up and go when needed but not to radical for the street. The engine has a lot of chrome on it that really brings people around at the shows and I just had a brand new aluminum radiator installed and high volume water pump, o this beauty does not run hot even in rush hour traffic.

Transmission is a fresh turbo 350 built to handle the horsepower, t is equipped with a 2500 stall convertor, ardened internals, &m shift kit, &m megashifter, nd all the other high performance parts one could ask for, t shifts perfect no issues or strange noises.

Rear has been all redone at the time of restoration with a Richmond 3:55 gear, ll new high performance bearings and seals, aton posi-trac unit, nd new axles.

Most of the suspension was replaced 8 years ago, nd the car rides extremely nice. This Bel Air just had disc brakes and a line lock installed along with all new hardware and the car stops on a dime, aking it a pleasure if you wanted to drive it on a daily basis.

The floorboards and trunk along with the torque boxes are all super solid and original, o rust or patches anywhere I could find, ll of the bushings were replaced 8 years ago and still seem to be in excellent shape. As you can tell by the pictures this is one solid 1956 Bel Air. Even the spare tire holder is original and in excellent shape no rust at all. Car comes complete with jack, nd spare.

The exhaust consist of hooker headers flowing into 2 ½ exhaust exiting just before the rear tires, ar sounds very nice and everyone will compliment you on the sound alone.

Wheels are the classic Crager SS style wheels and they really make the car pop, hey were bought new about 3 years ago, ires were just replaced a year ago so they are like new and give this gorgeous car a smooth ride down the highways.
