Up for auction is an 8,900 original mile 1988 Corvette Convertible. This car is a true survivor and is 100% original down to it's Goodyear Gatorbacks. Meaning this Corvette has it's original drivetrain and components that it left the factory in Bowling Green,Kentuckywith. The only things that have been changed is the oil, il filter and the battery, hat's it. The car is ready for Gold and Topflight judging. Never in the rain or inclement weather and always stored in a climate controlled garage. How many C4's have you seen that are this original and untouched?
Bought new out of Tom Brooks Chevrolet-Buick in Lenoir, orth Carolina. I have owned this car for the past 6 years and have only put about 200 miles on it. I am the 4th owner and have complete ownership history and mileage history back to the original owner. Mileage on the title is "actual".
A copy of the Certificate of Origin, riginal window sticker owners manual, onvertible top operating instructions, elco music system instructions, arranty books, oodYear Tire warranty, heel lock warranty card and serial number and other paperwork such as the original odometer disclosure statement, egistration warranty cards and warranty transfer card to the second owner are all present. This car has undisputed provenance with documented ownership history and low mileage. I also sent away to the National Corvette Museum to obtain a copy of the build sheet and a copy of the window sticker for display purposes. This car is the 3,410th Corvette off the assembly line and one of 7,407 convertibles built for the 1988 Model year. The paperwork from the NCM shows that this car was special ordered by the original owner. There is a 2 inch binder of all paperwork that goes with the car as well as two promotional models. I will take pictures of the paperwork and email the pictures to serious buyers.
This Corvette is Light Blue Metallic, ith a blue interior and white convertible top. L98 5.7 with MX0 Automatic transmission with overdrive.
