1969 SS Convertible Project with 2nd potential

Chevrolet Chevelle 1969 Description

While still a project,, o much has already been done and the potential to build another car is very high!!!

I purchased the 1st car a number of years ago as a rolling car less the motor and trans. When it arrived it was clear that the entire floor pan including the trunk had to be replaced along with both rear qtrs. I purchased new GM rear qtrs (which are included in the auction and valued at around $3,000.00 by themselves) and used good condition front fenders, hen found very solid doors. The task to replace the floor pans was next,, hen I came across a rolling donor bodywith the floor pan nearly complete, ear qtrs. installed with minimalissues in the trunk.Both rolling chassis and bodies along with many many parts are included in this purchase.. see the list below as most of the parts to build the 1st car with many to build the 2nd.. There are many extra parts from the 1969 Caprice firewall/dash and a 1968 Chevelle Firewall/dash,, oth with AC.. I intended to convert to an AC car,, ave many extra parts included in this auction.

Engine & Trans:

1969 427 stamping 512 waslocated, hen built as follows:

1969 512 block (which is the code used for the 427’s) This block is a 2 bolt main, yno'd producing approx. 420 hp have reports and a video that I can provide if requested).

Heads: I do have the original heads and intake, ut on the motor now has GM aluminum heads and GM aluminum intake with a 750cc Holly Dbl Pumper carburetor.

Aluminum Water Pump, eep groove pullies

Correct cast exhaust manifolds

Starter, lternator, ower steering pump,, ll rebuilt or new.

Duel snorkel air cleaner

MSD distributer & wires

Trans: Rock Crusher 3925660 case, resh rebuild,, ero miles,, till needs shifter plate and shifter.

New Clutch, ressure plate and throw out bearing,, lywheel resurfaced

GM pan and chrome valve covers

Chassis:

The frame was blasted and painted,, ver very nice show condition, ut not a concourse job

Has the original 12 bolt, M posi, 10 gears, ll rebuilt, ew seals.

All suspension parts are new or rebuilt.

Brakes all new including calipers and brake cylinders.

15” Corvette wheels, owder coated,, rim rings polished and in very good condition, enter caps good condition, irestone radials. Wheels will need to be rebalanced on the inside to final fit the trim rings.

Tilt Steering wheel.

Body:

The replacement body has the following:

• New front floor pan,, 0% installed,, eeds minor work to finish.

• Trunk pan is original and very close to rust free,, ill need a couple small issues addressed.

• Rear Qtrs are replaced and looks great !!!

• Doors arein very good condition and have anothervery solid set for the othercar.

• Front Fenders are GM NOS

Seats from both cars,,, oth need refinished,, ave new front seat covers and included in the auction.
