Chevrolet C-10 1962 Description
This is a barn find very very original 1962 C20 chevy pick up truck. This is the base model with no options three quarter ton. I've driven this truck daily for just over a year and its been an excellent vintage truck with no hang ups or surprises. Its one of those trucks thats like an old pair of jeans. Exterior of this truck is untouched, o paint blending or fake wear. It is what it is and it looks fantastic. Body is all original rust free, ery presentable with a few bumps and bruses...not an ounce of body filler on this truck. This is such a bitchin truck. Cab floors and lower B-pillars are in excellent shape. Doors shut well, indows go up and down, ing window latches work. Interior is all original with the addition of a saddle blanket seat cover. Seat could use some padding. Dash is in amazing shape...with original radio block off plate and paint. Original steering wheel is just worn enough. Industrial style ebrake on the floor. ALL electrical on this truck work perfect, ash lights, auges, unning lights, nterior light, ipers, tc etc. A new windshield and seal have been installed to make driving that much better. This truck runs like a sewing machine with the original straight 6 with original air cleaner and "stump puller" 4 speed manual transmission on the floor. Truck is geared for hauling, o its not a freeway driver. It likes 45mph best, uns great at 50. Exhaust is straight pipe with no muffler... sounds smooth with a nice amount of "gangster rap" when you let off the gas. Stock brakes and clutch work great. This truck is lowerd in the front by torsion bar adjustment. Rear of the truck has a basic C notch, owering blocks and springs. The original "widow maker" two peice rims are wrapped in new "early look" pie cut bias plie tires. Hubcaps have been powder coated white with hand painted black details. Ive replaced the tail light and front turn lenses. Original worn out wooden bed look so killer. A similar wood step for rear end clearence has been added. This is such a great truck that turns heads everyday...hauls plywood, otorcycles and groceries. Clean California title and current registration in hand. PLEASE don't bid if you can't finish the deal.
