Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description

1955 4 door Belair that has spent all its life in Wyoming. It was pulled out of storage last fall, and we hoped to start reassembling it during the winter, but that didn't happen. The body is fairly straight over all but it will take some fixing to make it nice. There is rust above the headlights on both fenders [ comes with one good used fender] and there is a hole in the drivers floor[ I have the repair panel for this too] do to a broken window and wet carpet. The rest of the car is clean, even the spare tire well is solid.The seats are both there but will need reupholstering, The carpet and headliner was pulled out last fall. and the original engine was replaced with a 1957 283 before I got it. The engine was running when removed and we took the valve covers, and oil pan off to check out its condition. It was clean inside and out with good compression so it could go right back in. The powerglide was working when removed but should be checked before reinstalling it. I believe the chrome is mostly all there, but I cant be sure because it was all off when I bought the car. This should make a nice restoration project for someone.
