Chevrolet Camaro 1968 Description

Up for Sale - my 1968 Camaro that I have owned for 13 years. I own the car and I have the title in hand. You are looking at my personal dream that has undergone an extensive restoration over a 6 year period that was just complete last year. We stripped everything out of the car and sand blasted the entire frame and body to bare metal. Any bad metal was replaced as you will see in the pictures. The vision of this car was to rebuild and keep the car both exterior and interior as original as possible. The things I changed to modern day were the motor and drivetrain becauseI wanted to be able to drive this car anywhere with zero worries and I created just that. As with anything in the classic car business you pursue perfection but it never happens - It surely wasn’t due to lack of money invested or time. I have well north of $55,000 in this car so understand this you are getting a very, very solid and amazing looking 1968 Camaro that will blow the doors of most modern day sports cars in a straight line. Vin # shows this as a 6 Cylinder Car. I will break down the car as follows:

Paint :
After Car was sandblasted I painted it my favorite Camaro Color - Dusk BluePaint is fresh and I would rate it a 9 out of 10. It’s to easy to find flaws when you drive these carsPlease keep in mind I have driven roughly 3000 miles with this car since it was done. It looked perfect when it came out of paint shop but bugs and the road took my show car from perfection to very very excellent shape. I built this car to drive not to sit in a garage.

  • Back Seat was in perfect shape so I left it alone
  • I installed New carpet

Tires and Rims:
  • I put BF GoodRich Drag Radials on this car in the rear to hook the massive power. They are Street/Strip Tires
  • I put new rubber on the front as well
  • All for Steel original Rims are painted Dusk blue to match the car - Sleeper look until they hear the car!

Misc Items:
  • I replaced all front end bushing and body bushing as well with new ones
  • I put Adjustlink Traction Bars on the car to eliminate Wheel hop - these are pricey items that work
  • I welded bars under frame to join rear frame to ensure car doesn’t flex
