Chevrolet Impala 1963 Description
*. * contact me ASAP with questions, DO NOT WAIT till last minute. This is a running driving project car. To my knowledge its correct original mileage at 57,732. I checked the numbers, correct original 283 engine date coded FEB 15, 1963 and original powerglide 2 speed trans. Car has a reserve gas can, it does start right up and also has a brake.
Car has well over $3000 alone of new sheet metal. Doors are brand new as well as fenders and hood. The lower quarters need to be welded and body work performed. They are held on with rivits only. The trunk floor like most Impalas of this vintage was rotted to death. I have all floor sections included in the sale.It is impossible to tell all details of a 50+ year old car. What you see is what it is. The car needs a good amount of body work. The price I'm giving it away for is a joke. I'm just bailing out and taking a loss. This car finished is worth 20k+ easy. There also is NO PAPERWORK with car. It's bill of sale only. If that is an issue it isn't for you. I will for $500 get paperwork for the car, again.... not looking for a song and dance. The car is being sold AS IS, where is and very cheap for what it is!
This is not a basket case, the only item I see missing is the hood molding that you can buy new or used. You get all parts with car, everything is correct including original seats (not some monkey job with wrong seats). It's worth more in parts than what I am selling it for. Car must be paid in full prior to pick up. If going out of local area buyer responsible for all fees to transport. I will hold it for no longer than 30 days. All money lost if not claimed after 30 days and car gets resold. I'm looking for quick clean sale, I don't want inspectors, I want a buyer. Good luck trying to find a car with all this $$ value in new sheet metal that actually runs and drives. Car in NY 10920. You see the "BUY IT NOW" so obviously reserve is less than that. Still a deal at "BUY IT NOW". I am not playing the game relisting it. It's getting one shot, if nobody claims it I keep it and finish it to sell for far more money. Now is the chance to get it cheap. Best of luck. Pay Pal fine to pay with and also I require $500 deposit within 72 hours non refundable. Don't waste my time or yours. On Mar-24-16 at 10:06:13 PDT, seller added the following information:
**** Attention!!!!****
As of today March 24th I've had 2 no shows from local guys. I would rather sell this car overseas or somebody long distance. I am tired of having my time wasted. You have another 6 days to bid. DO NOT waste your time contacting me after the auction trying to steal it, I am not responding to any e-mails to buy it after auction. You want it, now is the time to bid. I am a busy man and don't have time for BS. Nowhere are you getting a car with $3000 of new metal parts for the price I'm giving it away for. It could be junked and worth more than 3k. The buy it now is clearly listed, obviously it's going for less but it's not going anywhere for the bid it's at now. I will keep it and die with it for that price. I can again part this out and get more than I want for the whole car. Stop being cheap and just bid. The end result is I'm not dealing with confused people who want to be spoken to like royality and then do not show up! No time for it, car not being relisted. This if your one and only chance to rob me blind.
