Chevrolet Blazer 1971 Description
First things first. I’m an honest seller and prefer to deal with honest buyers. I have never had a negative feedback and don’t plan too. Communication is the key. Please ask any questions BEFORE bidding. If you need any extra pictures, just ask, I’ll get them.
Up for bid is my 71 Blazer project. It was built by a friend by joining a body from a 4x4 Blazer to a modified 68 chevy pick up 2wd frame. The front suspension is rebuilt 71 pick up suspension, 5 lug disk brakes. The rearend is from a late 70’s pick up. Rear suspension is leaf spring. The frame was stripped and painted black and new body mounts were installed.
The pick up cab top on the blazer in the pictures is included. It is just sitting on the body, my plans were full time roadster, but funding to finish my daughters truck has become my main focus for this year.
The door handles have been shaved, the body tub is in very good condition. I found one rust spot in the floor back by the tailgate, it’s about the size of a quarter and a little bit on the passenger floor, door bottoms and quarters. The outer rockers have been removed for replacement, inners are good. I’m also including a very good 68 GMC nose to combine with the 68 Chevy nose on the blazer in the pictures. Lots of options for finishing this to your liking. I do not have a full top for the Blazer.
This was a running and driving Blazer, but the previous owner pulled the engine and tranny.
I have the clear Idaho title in my name for the Blazer. It has “ASSEMBLED” on it since the Blazer combined 2 vehicles. This is NOT a rebuilt or salvage title. Please check it out on the Idaho DMV website.
I have a trailer and offer to deliver within a 600 mile radius of 83501 for a fee. I can give you a quote if needed. This is NOT a free service. Blazer must be paid for in full before delivery. I will also help your shipper load the Blazer. I have a really good shipper for west coast deliveries too.
Bottom line, I’m just one Hotrodder selling a project to another Hotrodder. Simple as that.
Please don’t hesitate to ask questions, I don’t end auctions early, Good Luck!
