1959 Chevy Apache 3600 (3/4 ton) Fleetside long bed truck – VERY ORIGINAL, UNMOLESTED.
·Truck has been driven daily for the last 2 years, is in very good running/driving condition. Believe it was originally sold new in Northern Iowa and lived up there up until 2013.Purchased by a friend a of mine a couple years ago and brought to Des Moines for daily driving use to and from work.Paint is mostly original.
235 six cylinder runs great, 4 speed on the floor clutch in good shape, all the glass is good. Bed has been redone at some point with new oak wood and is in really good shape, no rot. Has a heavy duty bumper and weight distributing hitch. Has some rust in the cab corners, right lower door hinge area, passenger fender (comes with a good rust free fender).Starts up on the coldest winter days, heater works great, a lot of fun to drive.
·New parts:
oRear brake pads/wheel cylinders, also comes with new front pads and wheel cylinders new in box (March 2015).
oNew wheels/tires (Mar 2015)
oNew front/rear coil over overload shocks (Mar 2015)
oNew muffler/exhaust (sometime in 2014)
oWindshield wiper motor (not installed)
oHeater core rebuilt with newer blower motor – heater works great
