This 1967 Chevelle custom Gasser is "ALL BUSINESS"! The car has been a race car nearly all of its life. This car has been completely restored, is fresh, and Ready To Race! This Chevelle is one of the nicest Gassers on the planet and is super fast to be gear jamming through a 4-speed. This car is well sorted, user friendly, drives straight and very low maintenance (we call it the Cadillac…) This car would also pass as a show car… The paint is slick and beautiful, almost reminiscent of Evil Knievel or a more patriotic paint scheme. The custom interior is simple but effective and is a throw back to the Gasser vibe of the 60's. This beast is powered by a 565 cubic inch big block and backed by a Jerico 4-speed. The "vintage" Ridge Runner Ram intakewasprofessionally port matched to the Big Brodix headsand twin 750 Quick Fuel Carbs were used to top off this perfect combo.For those not familiar with this vintage intake, it is rumored that less than 100 of these rare big block intakes were produced in the late 60's.The Dart block was assembled with only the best: Callies Crank, JE Pistons, Manley rods, custom ground camshaft, Meziereelectric water pump, and topped off with a set of worked Big Brodix heads. The motor is 14.5:1 and runs on VP Racing Q-16 racing fuel. The fuel is supplied by a Magna Fuel ProStar-500 fuel pump thats capable of feeding 2,000 horsepower. The engine is cooled by a custom Spalelectric fan andaluminum radiator. The custom headers were professionally built by JP Automotive. This combo pushes this car to consistent 5.50's in the 1/8th mile and thats through a straight shifted Jerico 4-speed (leaving on a clutch). The rear end assembly is all vintage Gasser style 9" (braced and ladder bar style) with 4.56 gears and adjustable QA-1 coil-over shocks. The front suspension is also vintage gasser with straight tube-axle on top of parallel springs with adjustable shocks. Wilwood disc brakes are at all for corners. The custom cage (roll bars) are chrome moly. This period correct Gasser was restored to high standards and built safe but FAST…!!!
