Chevrolet Impala 1967 Description

Up for sell is my 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS. This is a factory super sport, column shift, bench seat car. It originally came with power steering, 4 wheel power drum brakes, and factory a/c. The a/c was removed prior to me buying it 15 years ago. It has been garage kept for those 15 years. I've only put about 5000 miles on it in that time. This is a very good driver quality car. It was repainted before I got it and the color is pretty close to what the factory color was. There are a few scratches, dents, and dings but no bondo. There is light surface rust in a few places but overall, this a VERY solid car. The seats were redone prior to me getting it and the carpet and stereo were done within the last two. It has a new .040 over 350. It's got a new Edelbrock 600 electric choke carb, new billet HEI from Summit, new headers, 2 1/2" exhaust with H pipe, pocket ported heads, 2.02 intake, 1.60 exhaust with good valves in it. The Holley intake was port matched to the heads. It's got a Comp Cams Xtreme Energy cam with 1.5 roller rockers. There are also polyurethane motor and trans mounts. It's a nice little motor that should make around 300 hp. It has the factory TH400 that is numbers matching to this car and a 2200-2500 rpm stall converter. It is working perfectly and was resealed when the motor was rebuilt. It has the original 12 bolt but upgraded 3.73 gears and an Auburn Posi unit 5 yrs. ago. The rear control arm bushings are new as are the front coil springs. The power steering works and is mounted with a custom bracket from Summit. I also have the original power steering pump that I will let go with the car. I also have the rear trim piece that's not in the pic right over the trunk key hole. This car drives extremely well, is very comfortable, and will go anywhere you want to go. I'd have no issues taking this car on a cross country jaunt. The radiator has had a third row added to it (I did that when I had a big block in it.) There's an auxillary trans cooler so the radiator will run a little cooler as well. The clock in the dash does not work and I have not tried to make it work. In the pics, you'll see lots of literature. I have the owners manual, first owner's warranty card with protect-o-plate, and a few service receipts. The original owner kept the car at least ten yrs. because he bought it in 1967 and there's a receipt for work on it in 1977 with 50k miles on it. As far as I know, there have been five owners including me. The 327 was blown by the third owner and the 350 was dropped in. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but I've done my best to represent what I know. This is a very good car that I hope will provide someone years of driving joy. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. I got no title due to age when I bought it 15 yrs. ago so I applied for one from the state of GA. I got the title and we moved in 2003. I haven't seen the title since. I went to the tag office this year to get a replacement title and was told one can not be issued because the car is so old. This was told to me by the tag office. I have no problem writing a bill of sale, but I do not have a title and cannot get one in my home state. Oh yeah, the passenger window has to be held in the track to roll it up but I'll try to fix that before someone buys. It should just be a regulator inside the door. The wheels are American Racing Torque Thrusts 15x7. Tires are Uniroyal Tiger Paws 235/70/15 and have about 85% tread left.

*Update: Car was sold but buyer stated he made an error with his offer and wished to retract it. Furthermore, this is a US only sale and buyer was international. That is why this is being relisted.
