I am selling this true 138 SS Chevelle for a friend of mine. who does not have access to eBay. This car is 95% all original with original sheet metal. glass. interior (carpets have been replaced) etc… The original Protectaplate and Service Book come with the car along with a shop manual. The car was 1st purchased in Lillington North Carolina at Brock Chevrolet Co. Inc. on July 18. 1967. making this a very late build car. Please examine the perfect seams in the photos. doors open and close perfectly. testimony of this NO-Hit body. Power Steering & Power Brakes. With a factory 8 Track. Fresh Motor. engine was completely rebuilt with less than 2000 miles on it. The Turbo 400 transmission shifts as new. Condition: The car has had a color change to RED (who doesn’t like RED) and the paint has a very nice shine to it. There is slight evidence of rust appearing. but not through the paint. The rust is in the normal places. but small. “small area” at the bottom of the front fenders and in front of the rear tires on the quarters. NONE. in the back window area which is historic with 66 & 67 models. So. although very minor it will need to be addressed in 5 to 10 years. You might not even see it but I wanted to disclose it and give an honest assessment of this classic SS Chevelle. The interior needs nothing ! Although original. it is in GREAT condition and sports the factory 8 track. I would rate this car as a number 2 driver condition. with minimal rust repair and a re-paint to bring it to Steller condition. The car starts right up. drives Great. steers and brakes Great. handles and corners Great and has no mechanical issues. You can be PROUD to drive this car to any car show… AS IS !!!
