Chevrolet Impala 1965 Description
This 50 year-old specimen of the American Musclecar turns heads everywhere it's driven! This has to be THE nicest combination of its white bucket seat interior and gorgeous blue exterior. The body is straight and the drivetrain strong with no known issues. The only things I know of that one would probably want to tinker with are minor; improve tail light wiring rebuild factory A/C compressor replace missing original radio replace windshield washer tank...things of that nature. What I know about this car and what my best research reveals is; I purchased from a fellow who brought her from Texas with him to Colorado. He said the restoration was done in 1995 and then she was stored in a garage for many years. Online "VIN number decoding" says that she was manufactured at the Arlington Texas plant V-8 2DR hardtop SS with bucket seat interior. I don't know if it's "numbers matching" or the like. As I understand it the VIN indicates V-8 but does not indicate what size...? The engine badging says 327 cu in 350 horsepower. The rear end is a 12-bolt. The transmission is a 2-speed automatic. It starts right up. Runs great. Shifts strongly. Rides down the road straight and smooth. It's paint is borrowed from a Corvette color and I have a can that has been professionally mixed for touch up that's included. Original wheels caps tires pictured included. Full breathable car cover included. New in the box black carpet included. So that's about all I know about the car other than it is a blast to drive around! Please ask all questions and I'll do my best...I am not an expert just an enthusiast. If you are looking for a show car that can be turned upside down and eaten off this is not it as is. But then again it's probably less than half the price! If your looking for a real cool car to drive around and enjoy then I say this IS IT!Please come look at it drive it....whatever you want to do before bidding but PLEASE....don't commit to purchase unless you are ready to buy.
