Chevrolet Camaro 1977 Description

1977 CHEVY CAMARO Z-28

RARE 4 SPEED!!

SHOW WINNER!!

The Chevy Camaro was built in direct response to the Ford Mustang. It marked the introduction of the Pony Car wars between the Big 3. As you dissect any collection today of an automobile enthusiast you are certain to find a Camaro of any generation in the stable. Chevy Camaro was always a front runner in style and horsepower and earned its name as a sports car and muscle no matter the year. It also boosted the aftermarket horsepower market and names like Holly and Edelbrock shot right to the top when it came to adding ponies to any Chevy block that came in the Camaro. Those that couldn’t afford a Corvette chose its runner up…..the Chevy Camaro and if owners had a little talent under the hood, it didn’t take them long to make these cars faster than the Vette.

This particular 1977 Chevy Camaro Z28 holds no excuse for its styling and handling. It comes with exactly the right color combination and has won multiple awards at any of its showings. If you’re looking for a vehicle to start taking to shows and/or drive, this could be the one. Cars from the 70’s are starting to rise in value. This would be the perfect car to invest in. Please read on to learn all about this 1977 Z28. I’ve attached many photos and a VIDEO at the very bottom.

Exterior:

The exterior of this vehicle present extremely well. Well enough to win awards at local shows and events. Its very hard to tell whether this paint is original or a very old respray. There is no over spray and/or runs. The paint does show some lacquer cracking when you look very close, within 12 inches or so. The body is straight and solid with no signs of body filler or rust. The floor, trunk, subframes are all solid. The glass is all clear and damage free. All the lights and signals work well also. The wheels are in excellent condition and have fairly new BF Goodrich tires. Please view the photos and video below and let us know of any questions you may have.

Interior:

The interior of this vehicle is in excellent condition. The seats, door panels and dash are original. The rug has been replaced. The headliner is in excellent condition and can’t really tell if it’s the original or a replacement. All the gauges work as they should. The windows operate properly. Please review all the pictures and let us know of any questions you may have.

Drive Train:

The original 350 engine has been removed some time ago and a freshened 350 motor took its place. The current engine has been rebuilt with a mild cam and some performance parts including aluminum intake and carburetor by Edelbrock. The car has a rebuilt of the original 4 speed and a posi rear which has 3.73 gear ratio (we believe). There are about 5000 miles on the rebuild. It also has headers and flowmaster exhaust. Sounds and runs amazing. MSD Ignition has been added for efficiency and power. There is nothing this car needs mechanically. All the belts and hoses are in excellent condition along with brakes and suspension.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive way to enter into the car collection world, this car would be a great fit. It shows well, and runs awesome. The reserve is set for a quick sale. The owner has since passed and there is no longer a use for the car in the family. Please ask us as many questions as possible. The car has been photographed, videod, and written up by Advanced Auto Advertising. Please call 856-905-5593 or email us with any questions you may have.
