Most All Of Our Auctions End Early Call Us For A Great Price 865 988 8088Up for sale we have a 1959 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Post. In ’59 Chevy gave the car an all new look with a wider stance and large fins in the rear. They had more room inside than any other Chevy. They also had the largest trunk. Chevy along with the other big company’s made a statement that big is better. The one we have for you has the original title from when it was new in ’59. It was restored in 2005 and we pics of it before it was done. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior interior and heartbeat of the Chevy but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned operated and own our entire inventory no consignments and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information pictures or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of the Bel Air. The body on this ’59 is rock solid with great lines. When you look down the sides it’s straight as an arrow. Everything is covered in the factory two tone color scheme Crown Sapphire and White. The paint is slick with a deep rich shine. The stainless may be some of the best you will see. The bumpers appear to have been replaced. At the time of the resto they replaced all the weather stripping. All the glass also looks very good as well. This car has had a sheltered life and has not spent many nights outside. The final exterior touch is the set of 20” and 22” billet specialty wheels.
Next we will take a look at the interior of the ’59. When you look inside it looks like 1959. It has the correct seat and covers. The carpet has built in mats on the sides which we have not seen in year. The dash is correct with even the stock AM Radio Stock Wheel and Horn button that still works. The inside of this Bel Air is very neat and clean.
Finally we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it’s is like it was in ’59. It has a 283 V8 that is mated to a Power Glide Trans. It has power steering and Power Brakes. The exhust runs through manifolds and dual exhaust. When you look under this Bel Air it’s all solid with good floors pans.
