Chevrolet Other Pickups 1951 Description

This is a 90% Original truck with its original 216 Line 6 engine, 4 speed transmission and 457 differential gears. I am selling my high quality 1951 Chevrolet Pickup. It is a true 3800 series model. It is in great condition and It runs and drives nicely in all respects. Everything works. It was originally a farm truck. Retired from the fields, It's never seen salt roads--no rust. It has a clean Florida title. It was restored lovingly by one of its previousowner a few years ago. The owner placed it in his garage where it resided and then ultimately was sold to me. Much attention was given to the little details. Gauges and electrical all work. Engine runssmoothly and the originalfloor stick shift moves the gears smoothly--just as it should be. Everything is in fine working order. The floor starter button is slightly tricky if you are new to it, also the key-needs to be set at the right angle, but it always starts and once you have learned the angle, noproblem. It is fun to drive. Brakes including emergency brake are in find condition. The rear wheel cylinders have been replaced. The only nonoriginal aspect is that it was converted to the 12 volt system. I consider this one updatea plus--the engine always starts right up! Dash is very nice and unmolested. The truck has a very nice Green and beige paint job.I was told it was done a few years ago but still has that new car shine. It was a very good paint job, I can find no rust on the vehicle. All the wood in the bed has been replaced, the bed is 9" long. This Truck always gets a lot of comments and thumps-up wherever it goes.
