Chevrolet C-10 1970 Description
You are bidding on a 1970 Chevrolet C10. This is a running and driving Southern truck. This truck was daily driven by the previous owner until about a year ago. No Reserve! The truck is powered by a 350 V8 engine with a 3 speed manual transmission. The engine runs strong and doesn't smoke, knock, or rattle. It's equipped with a HEI distributor, Holley carburetor, and Edelbrock intake. The transmission shifts good and the clutch feels good. It has a new battery and alternator. The truck has manual brakes, but they do stop the truck.
The truck has been repainted once in its life (many years ago). It has rust in both rockers and a few spots on the lower body. The truck fairly straight. The frame on the truck is solid. It has aluminum wheels. I have most of the original trim for the sides. The body is in overall good condition for a mostly original truck.
The truck doesn't have any cracked glass. The door panels and dash pad are in good condition. It has carpet as well as a seat cover. It needs a few things to be daily driven. The fan needs a shroud to adequately cool the truck while sitting still. It also has a wheel cylinder that leaks after sitting for a few days. Georgia doesn't issue titles for vehicles this age, so it will be sold with a bill of sale and a Georgia tag receipt/registration. This will get you a title if your state issues them for this age automobile. The truck is sold as-is where-is. I will be glad to work with your shipper. $200 nonrefundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close and full payment within 5 days. Be sure to look at all the pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
