Chevrolet Corvette 1969 Description

1969 Corvette Stingray, numbers matching, L46 350/350 with very rare factory installed side-pipes. 1969 is the only year the C3 Corvette offered the side mounted exhaust as an option. 4,355 were produced, and about 40% of that year were convertibles...meaning there are less than 2,000 factory side-pipe cars ever made.
This car is currently undergoing a frame on restoration, runs and drives, but circumstances have caused a need for sale. Drive train and body panels are all numbers matching, including the very rare rear valance (see pics) proving the factory side-pipe install.
This was intended to be a beautiful, raw, driving machine. No power steering, no tilt steering wheel, no power brakes, no A/C...but...rebuilt engine that was ported and polished, the original recored big block radiator and Hurst stock style shifter allows you to easily...and I mean easily...keep up with modern cars. The side pipes not only look incredible, but let the world know you have arrived, quickly.
