Chevrolet C-10 1972 Description
This is a 1972 Chevy C10 Short Bed Stepside Truck. It has 350 V8 automatic p/s p/b a.c. tilt tach factory bucket seats and console. It is ochre and white. If you don't know what ochre looks like we like to call it mustard yellow. I think the pictures show the color pretty accurately. This truck was from California until a couple of years ago when I purchased it and had it shipped to Kansas. Since I'm a dealer it is still on the CA title. I have been under it and all over it. It appears to have all the original rockers cab corners and cab mounts and all to appear to be in very good condition. I can't find any rust on the truck or any signs of it ever having had rust. The paint appears to be the original on some of the panels and very old paint on other panels but I'm not sure if it's all original. It does have niches and dings throughout the paint no major dents. The top of the rear fenders look a little wavy. This truck would be a very good truck to leave alone and drive. a good truck to piddle with or to fully restore and have a show truck. It does not have the glove box sticker. If I had to guess some of these options have been added since leaving the factory. I put a new water pump heater hoses radiator hoses in it. The air is all hooked up but may need some freon added. The motor is a later 350 motor and has Vortec heads on it. It has a very nice headliner in it but the plastic trim around it is missing. It has a rock chip in the windshield. The tires have a lot of tread but appear to have some dry rot to them. I get lots of looks and inquiries about this truck when I take it out for a drive. It has a lot of character and is fun to drive. I guarantee you can't lose this in a parking lot because there won't be any other vehicles this color! There is no Buy It Now.
