This car was a complete dismantle about 10 years agowhen built and I have pictures from beginning to end. As of recent, many updates and plenty of work with pictures and documentation of this as well.
Thank you for looking at my ad and I will let the pictures and video do most of the work. This car underwent an extensive build approximently 10 years ago. I had the car for a while now and it is a thrill to drive.
I did my best at decoding the vin and it all seems to lay out as an SScar, factory 4 speed air conditioned car. Was bought and built in Texas. I'm a regular car guy and don't need the Chevelle guru's explaining the car to me. You're bidding on the car you see and I can only say what it is today.
The motor was rebuilt 30 over with a mild cam, built to be driven. Holley Street Avenger carb on an Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold. Mallory HEI ignition, Braided fuel line Holley Pump and Summit fuel rail. Chrome alternator, Billet aluminum pullys with twin cooling fans keep this car in check on the hottest of days.
Stopping power comes from disc brakes in front and brand new complete drum set up in rear with a Summit proportioning valve, stops true and straight.
New as of this season: I have all receipts. Copies will go to the new owner. I keep the originals for my records.
4 Speed transmission completely rebuilt with new balanced drive shaft
New rear springs and shocks
As above all rear brakes gone through complete
New water pump, plugs wires all fluids changed. Oil, trans, rear end.
Had a couple spots that needed attention, it has been ten years since it's last freshen up. So to avoid body filler I had a local shop do a complete rear quarter, also had two small spots on both doors. From the doors back is redone both sides andVinyl top, also the chrome rocker moldings.
Just what is listed is over 8,000 dollars and I have the receipts for this.
NewRiddler rims and tires with a spare to match (see pictures).
Car has a quick ratio steering box, turns on a dime, stops on a dime.
Interior is very clean.
I said I would keep this short so let the pictures talk, Let my receipts speak for themselves. I also have full resto pictures from the first owner. I believe this to be the original mileage and regardless the motor is fresh. As is the transmission. This is a Get in turn key and go cruise night car.Not aChip Foose car. Represents well andshould be considered a clean driver with normal driven wear. A driver is a car you actually drive to enjoy, not trailer. Always has a thumbs up or a nice car comment.Has heavy undercoat, should have no rust issues ever. Flow master exhaust with headman headers, Nice rumble but not stupid loud, I can hear my wife and carry conversations without shouting over exhaust. Has two switches inside. One's courtesy lights. one's backup lights. No joy rides unless cash is in hand ready to deal. Can see anytime before auction ends. Watching it will not own it.
mileage may vary for we do take it to cruise nights and shows when weather permits.
I am saying goodbye because I'd like to get something chopped or some type of lead sledrod.
Thank you for reading my ad and looking at my car.
