Chevrolet Impala 1964 Description

I have a 64 impala ss equipped with air bag suspension. Ill start with the interior. Overall it looks pretty nice. The pass seat and rear seats are good. The drivers has a couple splits on the bottom and a split in the top corner. the dash pad has a few cracks as it looks original. The package tray looks original. Not terrible, but not the best looking. The tach on the column doesn't work. The oil press& water temp gauges work, but the volt gauge doesn't. May just be disconnected. The drivers window needs assistance while rolling it up, but the other three and triangle windows work fine. The odo reads 10k miles, but true mileage unknown. The headliner is perfect & the side panels look pretty good.

The air ride is newer and functions correctly, but I'd probably tidy it up a little as the air lines and cables should be run a little better, in the trunk. I thought about fabricating some sort of concealing panels, but never got around to it, It sits on staggered 18" front & 20" rear wheels.

It has a 327 mated with a powerglide. Holley carb, edelbrock intake and flowmasters. New fuel pump and hei was rebuilt. I didn't rebuild the motor, so i'm unsure of true specs at rebuild. it fires up and runs pretty good. I'm sure the right person could fine tune it a little better than myself. I'm more of a newer fuel injected car guy. These older cars are above my pay grade. :)

The exterior looks pretty nice, but its not a show winner. I'd say nice driver quality. It's a metallic blue with white top. The white has a hint of blue pearl, but I couldn't get it to show in pics. There are a few minor sags in the clearcoat. Honestly, when the sun hit that metallic finish, it's not really noticeable. I'm the only one who notices these things while cleaning it.

I have a key for the trunk. the doors and ignition need to be re keyed. The ignition turns with out a key. Both are really easy and cheap fixes. I never leave the car unattended in the wild, so I never got around to addressing it.

I cant remember the last time I've gone for gas &not attractedan admirer.

I really don't want to get rid of it, but job change limits my time to tinker and play with it.

Please ask any and all questions, as I'm sure i've left something out. Please examine the photos closely. I have a video of it running and air ride operation if you'd like to see them. Shoot me an email almanzab1979@gmail.com

If there are any other pics or angles you'd like. Please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm a firm believer, that something is only worth what someone will pay. For this reason, i'm starting the auction at a buck, with no reserve. She is sold as-is, so please bid accordingly.

Thanks!

I just thought of a few things I should mention. The horn does not work. The car has sequential led tail lights. The turn signal lever works, but you have to hold it down while signaling. The radio is not oem, but a newer retro design radio. The car is not equipped with ac. It has heater controls, but it's not hooked up. The kick panels that surround the fresh air duct are not there.
This is not a #'s matching car. The number on the block decodes that the engine is from either a 65 impala, or 60's vette.
