Chevrolet Other 1933 Description
One of the sickest rat rods in the country! Built by legendary rat rod builder, Myron Tolf. Myron has had many cars in magazines and on covers. car has won multiple shows.
Built 502 chevy big block with 600 horsepower, vintage cross ram edelbrock x intake, and dual edelbrock carbs. vintage Holman Moody scoops and valve covers. Old school Hunt Magnito. Headers are huge 2 1/2 marine headers that Myron cut and turned every tube for an awesome look.
Turbo 400 auto with hand grenade shifter. Wildwood master cylinders
Working headlights, blinkers and horn.
Body has been sectioned and chopped a total of 16 inches making it one the lowest rat rods in the country. highest point of the body is 37 inches. Yes that's 3 feet! Car sits on hidden air bags, plumbed with copper lines and onboard air compressor
One of the coolest things about this ratis the hydraulic body. The body has an inner skeleton and is hinged in the back (like the old orange crush dragster)with 2 rams that lift the top with a key fob or a switchin the interior.
Interior has 2 layback racing seats and complete gauge package.
New floor has been constructed out of plate steel and has been repositioned under the original boxed frame. This acts as a skid plat and also gives more room in the interior.
Original grill with aluminum radiator and electric fan. Never runs warm or get hot.
Wheels are old school drag rims on front and early 30's milk truck wheels on the back (the original smoothie)!
In short this is not some thrown together rat built in the back yard. It was built by an engineer and talented rat rod builder.
This car get more attention than anything I have ever seen! build quality is in line with what they are building on the tv show VegasRat rods (without the 70 thousand dollar price tag).It is Minnesota licensed, titled and insured in Minnesota and driven at least once a week. Clear title in hand.
Any questions, feel free to ask. Would deliver in enclosed trailer for a fair price.
Thanks for bidding, Bret
