Chevrolet S-10 1994 Description
Due to a non-payer who now has a bad feedback and has been turned over to ebay for a non-payer strike being placed on their account I've relisted my truck.Up for sale is my 1994 Chevy S10. I have owned this truck since June of 2007. The truck is modified and I will list what has been done over the years. I will also list what repairs that are needed and what is included with the truck as far as parts. This is a strong running and driving truck with a good state inspection sticker.
I replaced the 2.2 4 cyl engine and 5 spd transmission with a 1985 5.7 350 ci engine and a turbo 350c transmission w the lockup converter. The rear differential is a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears. The engine had approx. 50,000 miles when purchased and now has 125,000 miles. Motor runs good with just a puff of blue smoke when first started but no smoke afterwards probably needs a valve job . I have another pair of heads that are from a crate engine that I believe are 194s. The transmission was rebuilt and now has 74,000 miles. The transmission is a little slow to go in gear at startup but is fine afterward. The engine has oil leaking at the oil pan area and the valve covers. The transmission has a small drip from somewhere that I can't see. The tires are getting close to the warning bars. The truck has a small rusted area on the top of the right side frame rail between the cab and bed and is repairable.
The trucks body is pretty good but has rust on both rocker panels and at one of the cab mounts. Floor pans are good. The bed is rusty underneath and the wheel wells had rust but has been repaired with new metal and then covered with filler. The interior is in fair condition. The carpet need replaced and the dash cover is cracked. The speedometer cluster has been replaced with aftermarket gauges. Also has a B&M auto floor shifter. The wheels that are on the truck are 15x7 Corvette Style Rally's.
I also have an old fiberglass topper and a set of wheels and tires that go with the truck.
I will put as many pictures that I can but more can be had for the asking. Please ask questions before buying.
The truck is a strong running truck and should be able to drive to its new home. I strongly recommend driving the truck home because having cars shipped is very expensive .
The buyer is responsible for shipping or delivery.
There will be a non-refundable deposit of $500.00 with balance to be paid in cash at pickup.
I would like to sell the truck to someone who would continue to build this truck into a great street machine. I've enjoyed this truck for many years but I really like my new Silverado.
Thanks for looking and have a good day.
