Chevrolet Other 1951 Description
I'm listing this classic hotrod for my father who purchased this vehicle a year ago at a benefit auction for a good friend of his. I'll try and be as descriptive as possible. Please contact me with any and all questions and I'll get you the answer. This is a 1951 Chevy Deluxe 2-Door model. It has been completely restored to look original on the outside, but with a few "Major" tweaks here and there. It has had a blueprinted and dyno'd 496 BBC place very gently in this beast. 489 H.P. moves this car as quickly as you'd ever want to go. I can only imagine pulling up at a stoplight next to a "youngster" in their hotrod and leaving them in the dust!!! It won't be a problem with this car! Additionally, this car is all steel. You won't find a hint of bondo on this baby! It is an automatic with a 2500 stall converter with a MOPAR differential. The transmission is a TCI turbo 350 with a B&M shifter. Here is the description of the front end and rear end...but I'm not as familiar with this terminology as I should be. Rear End: 8-3/4 "Mopar narrowed 10", 4 link brkts & back brace strange adj. coil over shocks. Front End: Stock 51 with Fatman dropped uprights, competition engineering adj. shocks.
This beauty has less than 500 miles on it since the restoration. It has ALWAYS been garaged and treated with kid gloves. All of the engine blueprinting paperwork will be included with the purchase of this vehicle. I just can't iterate the immaculate beauty of this vehicle. I've never seen anything like it, so I'm calling it a one of a kind. This is the kind of car that will win car shows in the morning, take the race trophy later that night and still have enough energy to get up the next day to run in the parade! I've been asked to put a reserve on this vehicle, albeit very low for a specimen of this condition. Honestly, the reserve is probably what you'd end up paying for the motor and paint job alone! I'm sure I'm not stating everything I'd like to, so as mentioned earlier, ask any and all questions. We will not deliver this vehicle, butcould possiblyhelp with the shipping arrangements. I know if it was me though, I'd bring an enclosed car trailer to pull this baby home. Also, there is NO warranty implied with the selling of this vehicle (No warranty/No returns). I am listing this to the best of my knowledge and as honestly as possible. Please...if your seriously interested in this vehicle, come and see her and inspect her for yourself before the end of auction. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding!!!
