Original in this add means born with. installed at the factory with. came from the factory with. 1969 Camaro Z28 X77 Cortez Silver/Black vinyl top with at 12-B build date. It has X77 on the cowl tag and X7 on the bulkhead behind the rear seat. Original console. tach & gauge car with endura bumper and wood wheel. Title search shows it was in the same family from 1973 until 2008. The car has been sitting since 1994 until October 2013. Pictures of the stamps and cowl tag were sent to one of only a handful of people that actually know what is real and I received the following: "Pad pic isn't great but pretty sure it is ok. The stamps and tag look ok. Axle date is good. " Car is in the CRG database. Original born with drivetrain except heads. carb. dist. ring & pinion. I have completely rebuilt the engine and it is now . 040 on the bore with a sleeve in #2 cyl. The 1178 crank has been turned . 010 on the rods & mains. I have the original heads but chose not to use them due to some valve seat issues. The heads have been replaced with the correct 186 castings. but dated a couple of months earlier than the originals. Ring & pinion has been changed to 4. 10 ratio. The engine has the original starter. alt. harmonic balancer. pulleys & brackets. The original radiator is in very good condition. The engine has less than 10 miles on it. Except. for the windshield. all the glass is original and in great condition. All the seatbelts & shoulder harnesses are in nice shape & are original. The seats are in great condition and look to have the original covers. The headliner is gone but I have all the trim and miscellaneous pieces. The dash pad needs replaced. The rear panels are original and in great shape. but the original door panels have speaker holes in them. The rear carpet is in good shape. but front carpet on drivers side is getting worn. Everything on the car works except the clock. All the gauges. tach. speedo. lights. horn. etc. Even the low fuel light works. Lots of new parts to get the car back running and drivable including u joints. clutch. p plate. tob. flywheel ring gear. & motor mounts. Most of the brake parts are original. except front pads. rear shoes. hoses & booster. Calipers. 2 piece rotors. hubs. rear drums & misc. inside the rear drums are what came on the car. The m/cylinder is the correct 309 with the US stamp. All the locks on the car work and are original. Correct 1138 shifter. rods. arms. mounting plate & re-chromed 5325 stick. Original 142 steering box & 227 pitman arm. Original drive shaft with offset yokes. The front fenders & upper valance have been repainted & it has a small dent in the top behind upper windshield molding. The OEM endura bumper looks original to the car. Previous owner installed a GM cowl hood. Most of the paint from the doors back looks original. Cowl screen has not been repainted and Z stripes on the rear deck and trunk are original. It has rust in the usual places at both rear corners of the vinyl top. around the quarter panel lips. and lower right front fender. The floor is rust free as well as the rockers. frame rails. shock mounts & area behind gas tank. The dash. base of windshield & upper firewall as well as the package tray area all look very nice. I found some minor holes in the toe board on driver side. The truck has some surface rust. but no rust thru holes. Fore more info. serious buyers can call 580-286-2795. The car is located in S. E.
