All steel body, tilt one-piece front end ( Shell is the only thing left from Vega). Factory glass, roll up windows, door locks, custom dash, full SW gages. Removable Racing Grant GT Steering wheel, Racing Bucket Seats with 5-point harness. Full 6- point cage to frame, Full custom frame front to rear, custom firewall moved back 10.5" from stock. Sound/ heat shield material under carpet, firewall & floor. 11 gallon fuel cell in back wagon area, Battery in aluminum racing battery box with emergency shut off in rear bumper as well as shut off between seats in cabin.
All metal tube and stainless fuel lines tank to motor, high volume electric fuel pump. Perfect braking system front disc & back Ford drum, inside easy to see/ service master cylinder. Griffin 3 row aluminum radiator with temp switched electric fan, never gets hot.
California Specialties full tube front straight axle and hardware with Ford 5 lug spindles. Upgraded heavy duty Vega steering box with drop pitman arm ( NO BUMP STEER)
4 link rear end holding fully custom shortened Ford 9" currie 34 spline axles into a big spool Posi with 5.13 gear ratio ( why this car does wheel stands with ease). Adjustable gas racing shocks on rear, standard heavy duty oil shocks on front M22 rock crusher 4 spd with custom 26 spline output shaft ( way better than stock). Shifted by an ORIGINAL HURST VERTIGATE inline 4 speed shifter. Heavy duty drive shaft, BALANCED, big U-Joints and looped by frame. M/T Racing ET's on front and rear, Rear slicks have less than 10 1/4 passes, NO weather cracks under two years old.
