Chevrolet Camaro 1978 Description
This is a 90% complete Project Car. All Matching #'s . Only 2,311 of these's were painted This Color Code 34. This was on the front of the brochure in 1978. Sent out 2,311 high sells dealerships. Approximately 15 on Registry. Very Rare Find. Has rust in typical areas, but very restorable. I started disassembling years ago replaced one lower quarter. It has been in the back of my shop for 10 plus years. I have the sheet metal, except for center trunk pan ( Rust not in Frame areas, surface only) Deck panel and trunk hinge area. You would need a donor car for that part. I have a full set of 5 spoke sport wheels sand blasted & primed with all four OEM rings in excellent cond. I can take more photos upon request. Needs Total Restoration. Clear title,Build Sheet,& other documents including original owners warranty info. You Can Look, And You WON'T FIND One of the 78 Z28 ( 34 Paint Code ) cars anywhere. It a SIGNIFICANT part of Camaro History. This car stands out like no other. If you are a Camaro Collector, this is a must have! The #34 paint code Z28 is the rarest one in 1978. Google 1978 Z28 and this car pops up everywhere, but I bet you can't locate one for sale anywhere. FLOOR BOARDS HAVE NO RUST ISSUES, SOLID ORIGINALS FLOORS. All parts that have been removed are being pulled out of storage today 9/4/16. Will try and organize and post pics of parts. Seats are in good working condition, but will need recovered. Carpet will need replaced. Center console is in great condition. No damage to roof, just surface rust. Any questions you have, feel free to ask. I am fully capable to repair rust issues, even rear deck panel. I've done them before, just don't have the time. We will be moving in the near future, so our rare Camaro must go to a new home. This car has always been a central Florida Car. Sent to Rice Chevrolet in 1977 and transferred to Phillips in Fruitland Park Fl. Where it was sold in 1978. The Original owner parked it in the Mid 80's for carb issues. We found it in 2001 under a pole barn where it was parked. It has been inside my shop ever since we bought it. Some work started and stopped years ago. NO RESERVE! $1000 DEPOSIT IN 24HRS. REMAINING BALANCE DUE IN 72HRS. YOU MUST MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR PICKUP.
