Chevrolet Blazer 1987 Description
For Sale here is my one of a kind 1987 Chevrolet K-5 Blazer 4X4 with 4-speed stick shift. Not your average truck!Motor andtransmission are flawless! Stick with granny gear is ideal for towing or 4X4ing.(Has hitch andelectronicbrake assist) Stock TBI motor, sticker says 305, but it has power like a 350. Motor runs like new. I really think that the previous owner replaced the motor because of how well it runs. I bought it from a dealer though that had it on the side as a trade-in so I could not get much info on it. Last year the truck got a full tune-up, new cat and O2 Sensor.
I do have a CAR FAX though. If you know Chevys, you know, good luck finding a stick K5. I have had an amazing time with this truck andbelieveme, you buy it you will not bedisappointed!
Everything on the exterior is custom except the bumpers.
Custom Blacked-Out headlights, tail lights, door handles, wheel well trim, marker lights, front grill, grill trim, antenna, mirrors. Tinted windows.
Brand-new mud tires. (I am driving it though) I really like the tread on these tires; they don't humm when your on the freeway = better gas milage.
Has factory rubber flooring, ideal for the outdoors. Couple rips- I found new rubber flooringonline for $100.
Lighting and gauges work perfectly.
Has AC but I have never hooked up the belt.
Heater blows VERY HOT, easily warms up the entire cab in the winter.
Recently installed Gold Warn Hubs.
LOUD Flowmaster Muffler- I can hear it idling at the back of my house.
AMAZING TRUCK IN THE MOUNTAINS! The fuel injection is ideal for 4x4ing, never bogging out the motor when tilted. Climbs the steepest, gnarliesthills I could find with ease.
If you're a guy looking for a reliable truck to do some serious 4x4ing on a budget, look no further!
Nothing wrong with the truck. Runs/ drives great. For those that think that there's got to be something wrong with the truck for it to be this cheap. I'm sorry I have it for such a low price. If you want I'll put back up the BUY IT NOW at $6000 so you can feel like your getting a good truck. It is an awesome truck and worth every penny. I originally had it for 6 but i know there's not many out there that will sport the camo.Selling my truck cause I'm getting a 4-door vehicle.

UPDATE: After taking some underneath pics I found 1 palm size puncture and a crack in the floorboard from extreme use on the driver seat. NOT caused by rust, but probably hard 4x4ing and the driver constantly pushing against the seat when pushing the clutch. When I bought the truck i noticed that there was a square piece of plywood under the driver's side seat, i just thought it was there because it was not the original seat and was modified to fit, but it was actually there to take weight off the puncture. Again NOT caused by rust. This is an almost 30 year old truck and has surface rust underneath but nothing major. All the metal around the puncture is very solid and could easily be welded back together. If needed Pics/ vid upon request.
