Chevrolet Corvette 1968 Description

Up forauction is a RAREcompletely restored 1968 corvette.There were9,936 Coupes made in1968 andvery fewwiththebig block engine, automatic transmission, power steering, and power windows combination. I'm certain the amount of survivors would be in the hundreds not in the thousands. Although, the block has not been restamped, all casting numbers on this car match and are dated 1968. These includetheengine,transmission, water pump, rear differential, and distributor. We opted for headers for sound and performance reasons, butif desired the manifolds are not too hard to come by. We also replaced the stock braided spark plug wires witha setwhich offers better performance, but theoriginal setis included.This car has been restored over the last 14 years and everything has been either rebuilt or replaced. All the wiring has been replaced including the fuse panel. All vacuum motors and lines have been replaced and the headlights/wiper components works perfectly. The engine has less than a 1000 miles on it and the car is showing a little over 33,000 which cannot be confirmed, but I believe to be true. The car includes the original jack and tire iron, and also the original spare tire. We chose to put the 8 inch wheels/tires on the car for aesthetic reasons. All in all this car is in excellent condition and youwon't findmany 68's like it. We hate to see it go, we just don't have the time to enjoy it.Please feel free toask any questions.
