1974 Yellow Corvette Convertible

1974 Corvette Convertible with L-82 option. Previous owner had motor replaced with a slightly more beefed up motor with more Horse power than original L-82. He also told me that the motor has less than 10,000 miles since it was replaced. It was his toy, garage kept and hardly ever driven. The original engine is available if the winning bidder wants it. Also said to have replaced wiring harness, new gauges, gas tank, suspension, tires, exhaustand new convertible top. But somehow the top got 2 small rips on the driver side that have been repaired, that you can see in the pictures.

This Vette drives down the road Awesome, Smooth and Straight, no rattles or weird noises. The Transmission shifts great and the fluid looks good. The frame is one of the cleanest I have seen.

The car can use paint. It shines great but has a few bad spots (hood, gas cap door and driver’s door). I have a few parts that go with the car, new factory L-82 hood emblems (factory new in the box) not cheap after market. Leather seat covers and cushions.

The only reason I am selling it is I am thinking of selling my garage and I will not have the space for it. I have another 74 Convertible Corvette, number matching totally restored. Very low production number car that I might keep. We will see which Vette sells first.

The yellow 74 corvette (the one for sale) is a lot more fun to drive. Because I can park it and not have to worry about it all the time.

I had the vette out today and noticed one of speakers is making a crackling noise. Also passenger door handle needs adjusting, only opens from the inside. This is a really fun car and always gets lots of looks!
