Chevrolet Camaro 1986 Description

You are bidding on a 1986 z28 camaro that is truly an Arizona Barn Find. I bought this earlier this year from the son of the owner whom thought he might restore the car. After pulling it out of a shed where it had been stored for 20+ years, he dove in. Mice had eaten a small area of the engine wiring harness. He pulled the hood hinge bolts so he would have easier access to the rear engine area. He pulled the wiper motor and the distributor cap. After seeing that draining the fuel tank, lines, injectors, fixing the wiring this car was out of his league so he decided to sell the car.

I bought the car, tailored it home and now it’s up to you to restore it!
The car is totally Arizona Rust Free! I can’t find any sign of rust anywhere. Bottom of the doors, frame rails, suspension, etc is entirely clean! The car was originally red on red and was repainted to white exterior sometime in its life. The interior is complete but like most rust free Arizona cars all the outside rubber is shot around the doors and windows. The dash pad is also shot. The glass is nice with no cracks or rock shots. It may appear bad in the photos but, it because of the tint job done years going is bubbling and cracking, not the glass.

The car is straight and has no major body damage that I can see or find. It just needs the typical repaint and small areas of the body that have chips and dings addressed before paint. The car has American Center Lines on it now I believe. I have the 4 original wheels for the car minus caps and lugs that are included.

Restoration/Salvage Arizona Title notarized ready to go. Note: the title states it is a REST/SALVAGE TITLE. I went down to the az dmv and had them run the car through their data base. It is clear of any leans or loans. Any yes you can personally check before purchase to ease your own mind.
