1971 CHEVROLET K5 BLAZER !!!!!
Up for auction is my very hard to find 71 K5 !! This is a solid rig to say the least! Always stored in a shop and never see's rain or bad weather! These first generation K5's are really increasing in value. Here is your chance to own one without breaking your bank account. This K5 runs and drives great. I drove it over a hour down the freeway at 75mph to a friends house the other day without any problems. It has a strong 350 with a Edelbrock intake and carburetor as well as a HEI distributor. Holds great oil pressure and never overheats or smokes. The previous owner stated the motor was rebuilt but I do not have any reciepts to prove this. Moving on it is equipped with a strong shifting TH350 automatic transmission and a NP205 transfer case. Has 2inch dual exhaust. Also has a brand new 4inch lift kit and shocks on all 4 corners. This K5 was stock and always a pavement princess when I bought it. Also has 35.12.5.15 tires and Alcoa look alike wheels. The interior is really clean with all factory seats that are in great condition for there age. Also has a newer factory style carpet kit in the front and custom black carpeting in the rear. The body is very solid and as most of you know that is hard to find in K5's in general let alone first generation K5's. The rockers are solid,the floor is solid the windshield frame is solid as well as the body mounts and the rest of the rig. The paint is a few years old and shines up really well. I believe it is a two stage base clear paint job. It has a few minor blems that are barley noticeable if they are not pointed out. This is what I would consider a really nice clean and solid driver quality 71 K5! This K5 looks and drives great and is a welcome sight at any local car show or cruise night let alone the coolest rig at your vacation property to launch your boat with!! And best of all it wont cost you $25to$30K!!! Everything works as it should including all lights,heater,windshield wipers 4wd ect. The Blazer comes with a nice clean white double wall top that has no cracks and a perfect hatch door which is really rare.I would love to keep this rig but the shop is full and something has to go. If you are in the market for a clean first generation K5 that you can drive daily or keep as a weekend toy without breaking the bank this might be the rig for you!
