Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955 Description
For Sale is my 1955 Chevrolet 210 Bel Air 2 door. This car has a 377 small block chevy with mild cam and a Weind single carb blower. Car is a blast to drive, has a turbo 400 trans with a Ford 9 inch and 4:11 gears. She is a boulevard cruiser but most of all shes a bare bones Hot rod. There's no power steering, no Power brakes, it does however have disk brakes upfront. The Bel Air is super fun at car shows and cruising around town. When I do take it out everyone stares and gives you thumbs up. You can't go anywhere without someone wanting to talk to you about the car. Though you can drive this Bel Air it is still a "project" and could use a few things. The floor boards are solid underneath as well as the trunk pan but the rear body mounts in front of the rear tire are rusted. There is a small hole in the drivers side rear floor board under the back seat. In the pictures, I also included some of the "bubbles" in the paint they are mostly on the passenger door and bottom of the front passenger fender. The rear quarters look good though. Also in the pictures you will notice that there is some cracking around the hood scoop. The hood is steel, but the scoop is fiberglass and that is what cracked. I always planned to cut the scoop off and just have the blower sticking through the hood like the car from American Graffiti but never got to it.The Bel Air still has the old clutch pedal mounted in the floor but it doesn't do anything. It is an automatic. Other than those things, the car's in good shape and even with the modifications it does have, it is an uncut body and frame. Please keep in mind that this is a hot rod it has been driven and enjoyed. It is not a $50,000 trailer Queen but would I jump in it and drive it from Georgia to California, NO I would not it would eat you alive in gas and it is not a Highway car. But if you want a Brutal hot rod to drive back and forth to car shows, cruise around town in, or make all your friends drool with it in your driveway, then this is your car. It's affordable and fun. It has the oil pressure gauge, temp gauge, and boost gauge in the glove box. The speedometer does not work it needs a cable which is included with the car. Ok, so with all the bad stuff out of the way how about the good. The Car is absolutely stunning. Just sitting there it looks like its going 100MPH when its standing still. The interior is in good shape and does have driver side power seat. Other than the seat, there is nothing else in there that is power. The windows roll up and down good and the quarter windows go in and out like they should. Has brand new air shocks in the back so you can decide on how hard you want the car to ride. Has a tape deck radio but its hardly been used because the exhaust just sounds too good. Please if you have any other questions give me a call or text at 1-912-412-0529 my name is Will. I will be happy to discuss anything you want to know about the car with you. Car is sold with no reserve and the first bid could buy it. Also car is sold with a bill of sale only. Georgia does not title cars pre 1964 so please check with your local DMV before bidding if this may be a problem. The Bel Air is sold AS-IS with no warranty given or implied. Again with any questions please give me a call or text Ill be happy to answer any questions you may have.
