Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1986 Description
Reginald 1986 Monte Carlo SS with rebuilt original numbers matching 5.0 liter engine, 4 speed auto, 373 posi rear. Runs great, put away after a full pro repaint costing over $3500 paint job in 2003, not perfect but very nice job. Engine was rebuilt with 20k on it, prior to paint and fired up with fresh gas and a battery, needs tuning after sitting so long. No smoke or noises. Body is very straight, garaged for years, no rust at all. Minor rust on floors, trunk floor is nice. All new brake lines and parts,Trans leaked after we started it, rear seal leaking bad. I took my original Eagle GT 2 tires with less than 200 miles on them and mounted and balanced them on the original wheels with new valve stems. The tires were in the basement for many years, still shows nubs on tires. Rims are decent, could use sprucing up, missing one cap. Exhaust looks nice. Car looks awesome, shines great, just needs help from sitting. Will drive onto a truck or flatbed. Dash is nice, no cracks, seats are very nice, need cleaning. Comes with mint factory equalizer stereo, upgrade from the factory, top level.Have brand new,1. Complete SS stripe kit installed2. Door rubbers3. Roof rail rubbers4. Trunk rubbers5. Black SS door handles6.Master cylinder7. Shift cable8. Headliner material9. Battery tray10. Fully rebuilt trans with shift kit installed and converter. Built to stock SS specifications.(needs to be installed, or repair trans in it)11. Eagle GT 2 tires, almost no miles, mounted, balanced and new valve stems. They haven't made these tires in many years. No dry rot, stored in clean, dry basement over 25 years.Car needs trans re sealed from sitting, or throwing in fully rebuilt trans and converter, bought from a friend, paid $1400 for it.Needs Interior put back in, seats are nice, carpet is almost new, door panel tops are new, console a little rough ( needs lid replaced has a couple cracks. With a little elbow grease, this car would be awesome, paint shines great, after hosing off the dust and dirt. . All the trim, passenger mirror and spare parts come with it, 90%complete. This is a project car, needs assembly and tweaking, don't expect to drive it home. Sold as is, but your welcome to come see it in person.QUESTIONS? OFFERS?
