Chevrolet Nova 1971 Description

What you see here is a 1971 Chevy Nova built by Matt Hunt Muscle Cars (http://mhmusclecars.com) from southern California in 2013 for the Affliction Clothing company. I am the fourth owner since then and have put about half of the 21XX miles on the build. That’s correct, the Blueprint 383 and Turbo 350 automatic transmission have only a little over 2100 miles on them (may increase slightly). I have recently installed Dynamat Xtreme on the entire floorpan, doors, and roof, including the aluminum sheet metal panels. Dynaliner was also added on the floor and roof for extra insulation. The new black loop carpet also has insulation in pertinent areas and was installed at the same time. The car can be driven indefinitely and the floor will remain cool to the touch! The oil was last changed in July and an alignment was also performed just this month. The engine runs very strong and smooth. I am aware of a slight oil leak from the bottom pan, but the levels remain stable. All gauges, headlights, brights, brake lights/signals work. The car was originally red, and is covered in a matte black vinyl wrap. In some sections there is primer underneath. There is some evidence of previous rust in small areas underneath the front of the doors and lower rear panels, please ask for close-up photos. The car has been kept out of the rain under my ownership. This car is an excellent driver and/or drag car.

The car has 15” Weld Racing wheels with 255mm tires in the rear, and 180mm up front. 12 bolt rear-end with 3.73 gears and Eaton Posi locker. Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic transmission w/ shift kit and B&M Rachet shifter. The leather racing seats are super comfortable and supportive. Grant steering wheel. Fiberglass cowl induction hood.

Front disc brakes, drum rear. Lowered suspension; front springs and shocks, leaf suspension rear. Optima battery located in trunk w/ on-off switch.

420 HP | 450 lb-ft Blueprint 383 stroker V8. The motor has aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, Holley 750 CFM carburetor, and Hedman Elite headers, with mufflers just before the tailpipes. 3-core radiator. 100 amp Powermaster alternator.
