Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description
Up for you consideration is a beautifully restored 1956 Chevrolet Bel Airtwo doornon-pillar hardtop! Comes with a 350ci engine, 4 speed manual transmission, 12 bolt rear end, and chrome rally style wheels. Car is beautifully accented in a green/white exterior and a gray interior with white piping. The car runs and drives out very nicely with a nice crunchy cam and dual exhaust which reallysounds great. It has manual steering and drum brakes, but you really can’t tell as the brakes feel as good as discs. This car was recently restored using 2 different cars and the reason why it has a reconstructed title and assigned vin # in Oregon. Reconstructed titlesare issued in Oregon if the car is assembled from another donor car. Ithas not been in any accident...the guy just used the best oftwo cars to make this one. He spent $9500 on the paint & body alone. It drives out perfect and straight down the road at 70mph without issue. The '56 manual transmission shifts smoothly and the 350 motor has plenty of power when needed. The car is as far as I can find rust free with no bubbling of any kind and the floor boardsare great without issue. There is a bit of minor surface rust in the trunk area that can be sanded out if the new owner wanted...nothing major. It does have a dime size chip on the passenger rear quarter that just happened. The body lines are great and all panels are extremely straight. All the chrome is mint with no dings or anything missing. Its simply a great car all the way around. I encourage all inspection before the end of sale...not after. This is a super cool '56 Chevy sports coupe that really shows and would be the envy of any enthusiast. The car is located in Belmont, California (suburb of San Fran.)where it is stored. Please email me with any questions concerning the '56 and I will get back to you with said questions. Own a piece of history with a Bel Air that will only appreciate with time!
