Chevrolet C-10 1969 Description

1969 chevy c10 shortbed stepside truck. This truck turns heads everywhere I go. Has a great patina look! Here are some of the details of the build: 5.3l LS swap with 4l60e transmission. CPP suspension drop with CPP LS swap kit that included transmission crossmember motor mounts and ceramic coated Doug thorley headers. 8.5mm MSD plug wires with e3 spark plugs. Two 2.5" into one 3" exhaust swept out the passenger side stock car style. Has a dynomax 3" blow through muffler has a great sound. Boss 338 wheels with 20x8.5 on front and 20x10 on rear. Toto proxes 255/40/20 on front and 295/40/20 on rear. Converted 5 lug. Disc on front drum on rear. Has power steering with new: steering gearbox pitman arm idler arm and ball joints. 3:73 rear axle ratio. Has automemer gauge cluster with all autometer guages that all work like they should. Brand new pro car low back bucket seats and seat base that were paired with a 67-68 buddy bucket center console/seat. Has three new 3" lap belt racing harnesses.I have put 1150 miles on truck since completing all the work which will continue to go up as I enjoy the truck often! I bought the motor and transmission from LKQ which both still have warranty left until the end of July. Truck will runs and drives great! Goes down the interstate no problem! Turns heads everywhere and I always get compliments. I started with a very solid truck with very little rust. Truck is very honest with the original paint you know there isn't any filler or rust hiding! I prefer the look of the natural patina but truck would be a great candidate for a shiny paint job as truck is straight. Passenger rocker has a small amount of rust in seam but is not terrible. There is a spot the size of a quarter on the driver side door. Very solid truck. Bucket seats are so much more comfortable then what the factory bench was. There are a few things that I feel like need done to the truck. Those being: windshield has a crack has original wood bed in it which needs replaced new door seals and window felts needs carpet grill is decent but has some dings in it the blue dashpad(truck had blue interior before) is cracked but I have a nice condition black one to go with the truck. Also it would be nice to relocate the fuel tank to beneath the bed but the behind the seat tank is almost brand new. But that being said the truck is running and driving works great the way it is! I would love to keep it but my wife and I are in the process of selling our house and building a new one so it makes more sense to offer it for sale.
