Chevrolet Camaro 1970 Description

This 1970 Camaro RS/SS was manufactured in the Los Angeles/Van Nuys plant. The car was located on the west coast until it was shipped to CT in 2003. It has ALWAYS been stored in a garage. Since arriving in CT the car has been covered and garaged and has not seen rain or snow. I have ORIGINAL documentation including the original Protecto Plate/Vehicle Warranty with original owner info stamped into the Protecto Plate and original CA dealership info original owner's manual original warranty brochure and original consumer information brochure.Motor - Small block 350. Deck stamp shows "CE" which describes Chevrolet Exchange engine. It is assumed to be the replacement to the original 350 engine the car came with sporting solid lifters. The engine is not stock having roller rockers a Victor Jr mid-rise manifold Holley electric fuel pump with fuel regulator a new Holley 750 double pumper and new complete MSD ignition. Exhaust is solid and sounds great with headers and custom fully welded 2 1/2" pipes and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. The car has been chassis dynoed at just under 400 hp and runs great on 93 octane pump gas. Drive train - Solid M21 4 speed and factory 12 bolt posi rear end with 4.11 gears. Front end is solid and true and bushings are in great shape. Factory 9 inch front disc brakes. Power steering works perfectly. Car sits and rides nice and smooth and straight on 4 new shocks and factory rear stabilizing bar.Exterior - Paint is in very good shape. Factory color was cranberry red. All door jambs trunk under hood etc. were properly painted before I became owner. I purchased a Goodmark steel cowl induction hood and had it professionally painted to match perfectly. The car is all solid metal from front to back and top to bottom no bondo or fillers anywhere. Body lines are all perfect and doors close straight and tight. Bumpers and trim are all complete and in very good shape. All glass is perfect. Rims are Z28 with SS tags and tire size is 235/60/15. Tires are in excellent condition.Interior - All factory interior. Headliner seats carpet and dash all in great shape. Factory AM/FM radio works perfectly. Aftermarket electric oil pressure gauge on column. All lights and turn signals work.All RS options are present including correct: front parking lights front bumpers tail lights long sun visors and articulated wiper arms.A high quality car covers that fits correctly over the rear spoiler is included.**Shipping - After payment is received in full if you choose to pick up/drive the vehicle out yourself you must pick up the vehicle within 7 days of ended auction or the buyer will be charged $50 per day storage fee. If other transportation is being arranged such as a car transporter the vehicle must be picked up within 10 days of ended auction or the buyer will be charged $50 per day storage fee. Buyer is 100% responsible for all transportation charges and arrangements. If a transporter is arranged without the buyer present I will make myself available for anytime the buyer chooses within reason.
