Chevrolet C-10 1962 Description
1962 Chevy C10 factory short bed box 2wd pickup. I recently bought out a large vehicle collection, this C10 was part of that. This is a perfect builder truck to make your own. I have it running/driving and stopping well enough to load/unload off a car hauler, go down the street under its own power. This C10 was parked in storage back in 2006. I dropped in a new battery, flushed out bad gas, got it to this point. I drove the truck 5 miles to check out the major components, no complaints. Finding a factory short bed C10 is getting difficult, hence companies all over converting long beds to short beds in the $3000 plus range.Get the real deal with this one, factory SWB will always retain value better as well.MECHANICAL
Inline 6 motor runs and sounds great, original 3 on the tree manual transmission. The linkage broke along the way, converted to 3 on the floor with homemade reverse lockout. Clutch is good, brakes work. I have not checked every bulb wire etc. This is a builder truck, I’m sure it will be taken apart for restoration.
BODY
This C10 lived its entire life in the high desert farmland of eastern Washington. The body is straight and clean for a truck of this era. Rather than nit-pick, check out all the pics and video, establish condition for yourself.
I will sell this C10 for $5800 FIRM no offers, to the 1st local or eBayer willing to pay that price. I’ve sold many vehicles on eBay for the past 12 years, these lower end trucks always sell, but ½ the time the winning bidder is never heard from, so the auction will most likely end early.
I have clean/clear WA state title in hand. I have a shipping broker whom has shipped dozens of vehicles for me all over the USA for years without a hitch. I will put you in contact with him or work with your shipper. I welcome inspections during not after the auction. I’m a licensed vintage car appraiser and find no offense in you doing so, as I do it for people daily. I accept bank to bank wire to my US Bank business account or cash in person only within 3 days closed auction. No PayPal or any type of financing. I will deliver within 250 miles of 99353 at $2 a loaded mile. Vehicle and title do not leave my property until cleared full payment.
