Here’s a sweet little 1936 Chevy pickup! You’ll have a blast cruising around; it’s ready for any kind of road trip. Spend less time cleaning polishing and tinkering and more time cruising.

This is a finished hot rod that has been featured in one of the more well know car culture magazines it’s got all the creativity of a Rat Rod refined into a 60’s style Hot Rod. The paint is satin speed blue topped off with 1955 Chevy Shoreline beige finished off with beautiful pinstripes laid down by renowned artists Paul Straus and Ron Lasker. The bed is decked with a tonneau cover made from white oak sealed in a natural finish with an aged patina accented with 1950’s chrome cabinet handles and secured shut with rare earth magnets. Hidden under the steamer trunk lid is a 15 gallon fuel tank made by Tanksinc. The tailgate skin was constructed from WW2 wall locker panels finished off with bumpers made from 1950’s Chevy bumperettes a 55 Chevy trunk emblem and fins made from 1967 mustang bumperettes. The tail lights are 1937 Ford on custom hangers. The front end sports a 1936 Chevy grill shroud with traditional BLC style guide head lights on each side. The 1939 Chrysler side door handles vintage swan mirrors and 50’s bumpers give the exterior just the right amount of chrome to go faster. This truck has seen two summers of very light use with that you will find it has a few small chips and light ware in a few areas.

The interior is finished in faux leather vinyl that looks and acts like the real thing. The bomber style seats with drag style lap safety belts yield the comfort and security that will keep you tucked in safe. Both seats have storage space below and behind the battery is located under the passenger seat. The center console is made up of 1954 Ford F100 rear fenders flipped around and welded together topped off with white Stewart Warner Wings gauges; water temp oil pressure and volts. The dash utilizes 1964 Impala consol panel inlayed with the key light and wiper knobs. The steering wheel and column are reconditioned from a 1964 Impala. The side windows operate using crank style knobs that have been modified to work as power window switches.

The drive train consists of a crate 350 Chevy with 1428 original miles putting out approximately 300 hp and topped off with an Edelbrock intake and carb setup. A custom built radiator with a shrouded thermostat controlled electric fan cools the power plant. The transmission is a rebuilt 350 turbo automatic followed by a Chevy 12 bolt rear end. The frame is built out of 2x3 box beam. The front suspension is strait axle and split wish bone setup in a spring over axle suicide style with disc brakes. The rear consists of old school hairpin radius rod set up sprung with coil springs and Chevy drum brakes. The wheels are reproduction traditional style steel wheels wrapped in beautiful whitewall drag slicks and Firestone tires.
