"1969 Chevelle 6.0LS Modern Musclecar AOD AC 4WDB 12Bolt Pro-Touring"
This is what $40-50,000 and 2 years of waiting can buy you... or you can buy mine all done for half and enjoy it today. Drive anywhere anytime in this reliable bulletproof street machine.
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle with SS badges and 396 call outs. But neither of those prepare you for what's under the hood...
LS6.0 Iron Block with aluminum 317 Heads. Z06 intake. Ported Throttle Body, 36LB/hr injectors, Walbro 255GPH fuel pump. GM-Wiring Harness/Computer. OVERDRIVE 4L60E turning a balanced driveshaft into a 12 bolt rear and 3.73 Posi gears. 17" classic TorqueThrust wheels. Full 4-wheel disk brake conversion. Stops like no muscle car could. All brake lines fresh, new master cylinder done in 2012. No known mechanical issues at all.
Despite the 275 wide Toyo Proxes4 sticky tires, the Chevelle loves to lay down two long patches of rubber.
Take a look at the clean engine bay. Understated and elegant. All wiring and plumbing is run out of sight. Just a very very clean minimalist appearance.
I've owned dozens of muscle cars over the years. This has the brute power of a classic race 427 combined with the refinements of a new car. Wide power band, Great mileage, overdrive for low RPM freeway speeds, braking, dual sway bar level cornering, and sticky traction.
Still want to go faster? These LQ4s love boost. These motors in stock form have proven stout enough to handle 800 horse with low cost forced induction kits. Stupid power undreamed of in the 60s and cheaper than ever.
But at its current 420+HP (naturally aspirated) this is all I personally needed. You pay no price in ease or comfort or drivability for driving a muscle car like this with a modern drivetrain. This thing has an OBD2 port. All the motor's vitals and history show up like a new car. I just had this at the dealership to inspect before listing. She got a clean bill of health. Perfect.
Vintage Air Front Runner Air Conditioning using all the stock control location and vents blows COLD.
This car has never seen a New England winter. Its past is all southern. Texas and Florida. Underneath proves it. Bushings, Joints, steering all less than 5 years old. No Rust anywhere, and over the last year I've spent a lot of time on this car. It was painted before I owned it, so it has stood the test of time without any rust. Look at the vinyl top.
Stock interior (I prefer). Headliner and Interior are less than 5 years old. 4 seatbelts. Rockford speakers and a JVC head unit. Just plug in your iPhone and go.
So what's not great? It's now an older restoration. 6 years.-It's now a very nice driver, not a show car. Paint gets a ton of attention, but is not longer perfect.-Speedometer doesn't work. You can keep my Garmin GPS. It tells you your speed.-It has a fiberglass hood. I don't like fiberglass on a muscle car. No fiberglass spiderweb issues at all.-The Ashtray/wipers/center console button is missing.-The steering is manual. Very precise at any speed, but takes more effort to parallel park than this generation of drivers is used to.-I don't like the aftermarket steering wheels. It's a odd fit. It should be original like the interior.
That's it.
No trades. Price is firm. Please, no tire kickers, dreamers or scammers. I'm not a dealer. I don't offer finance. This is my personal car. I own it outright. It has a New Hampshire title in my name. Check my feedback.

Best feature:
As muscle cars go, this is one your wife/girlfriends can't hate. AC, OD, EFI, doesn't stink of spent gasoline (mine hates that), isn't deafeningly loud and never drones at cruising speed, and it stops like a modern car. No play in the steering, Doesn't pull in any direction, even under hard braking she drives straight and true.
If your girl is not a fan of muscle cars, this car changes all that, while delivering a beat-down to the stock muscle car.
