| I am selling my baby on ebay this week. This is an original BIG WINDOW 1967 as shown on the SPID in the glove box. Ordered with Panoramic cab. I have had this truck for 4 years now and it has been a work in progress since I bought her. She came from Texas, through Fort Sill, Ok., and ended up at Fort Knox, Ky. where I found her. She has been drag raced, rear frame was cut and a 16" C notch and air bagged. When I bought her she was a rolling truck with no running gears except the rear end. It would be easier to tell you what hasn't been fixed or replaced. But here goes: Body and bed were taken off, C notch fixe, there was some minor floor rust we cut out and fixed, new inner and outer rockers and cab corners, new cab mounts and new bed mounts with all new bolts. The PO did keep the bed floor section they had cut out to do that huge C notch and it was welded back in and new inner wheel wells put on. Starting at the front we have new bumpers front and rear, new aluminum radiator, new drop spindles and new front disc brakes. Now you see a lot of LS swaps where they say the motor and tranny came out of a low mile vehicle. I saw this motor and tranny come out of a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2 wheel drive in 2008 . The truck was totaled with 1100 miles on it and I bought the motor and tranny and set it aside. So now we have one of the slickest LS transplants, like new and super clean install. It is a 5.3 and 4L60E. New steering box, power steering, new master cylinder with all new brake lines all new hoses, new shocks, new lowering springs. Brand new Vintage Air unit using original air set up in the cab, cab floor, doors and back of cab are double insulated and new black carpet, new carpet kick panels and lower door kick panels in black carpet. New firewall pad, new tilt wheel and factory deluxe steering wheel. New Dakota Gauges and everything works even the little blue high beam light. We put a gas tank from an early S10 between the frame rails in the back and a new electric fuel pump in the tank and gas gauge works. Rear drum brakes are all brand new and all new lines. So hopefully you get the picture.. We have gone over or gone through every nut and bolt on her. All light work as they should. Air blows cold. Sits one a brand new set of Boss 338's and brand new tires with probably 500 miles on them. 18"x 8" on the front and 20"x 9.5" on the rear. Now, why an I selling her now after sinking a fortune in her. Well I bought my dream car last week - a 60 El Camino out of Texas - 2 owner . This truck has been driven about 500 miles since we got her this far with no problems at all. What is left to do. I have a brand new factory look stereo, new carpet for back of cab, new headliner with chrome trim, new chrome for front of hood and the chrome eye brows, I have almost 2 complete sets of original, driver quality, side chrome with new mounting hardware and new mounting hardware for all new chrome, 3 pieces of new chrome for upper tailgate, pair of deluxe original door panels. New C/10 emblems for fenders. All of which you can use or not tosuit yourtaste and make her yours. Everything I have for 67-72 truck goes with her. There is probably more stuff I'm forgetting but it all goes. This is a truck you can get in drive to car shows or cruse in now and what little is left to do could be done in a weekend. Seat is from an 86 Chevy truck and had a brand new cover on it when I got her. It needs to be re-stretched to look good and I didn't bolt it down yet as I thought I might cut the mounts and slant them a little - I'm 6-2. I'll leave that to the new owner. Now to the body:All my friends said I would be a fool to paint this truck. Asyou can see from the pictures she is straight. All the panels line up great as I am a fanatic about that. There is some surface rust- mother nature patina and we were going to sand through a few spots on top of fenders to show the dark blue lay on satin clear coat and drive her. There are a couple of rust spots on the lower front of the doors and some bubbling through around the upper wheel wells on the outside of the bed, and a couple of small places in front of he new inner wheel wells in the bed floor shown in pictureswhichsome of the rust would be covered by the trim or easyfix. Tailgate is in gray primer.Never any sign of rust over windshield inside. Bed pockets have been welded shut. Gas filler is in the bed. This is a truckyou can have someone drive you here and you can drive her home or I have a hauler that will haul her to you at $1.00 a mile - paid 1 way. The only possible thing on the truck anyone can kick on iswhen I got her she had a brand new 3.73 locker rear end and still does. Now if youdon't know what that is the rear end is locked in positive traction full time.It does pop pretty load when you back out of a parking space but man she will come off the line, quick. NOTE TO ALL BIDDERS:Please don't bid on my truck unless you plan to follow through should you win this truck. You can check my feedback and see that I deal honestly and straight up. I will require a $500 - non-refundable deposit at the end of the auction within 24 hours andpayment is expected, in full, within 7 days - no exceptions. This truck does not leave my driveway until I am paid in full. I can provide you the number of a good honest hauler here.
