Chevrolet Camaro 1969 Description

1969 Chevrolet Camaro for Sale
1969 Chevrolet Camaro 51K Original Miles, California Car, Recent Frame-off, Nut/Bolt Restored ......please be patient while the many photos load.....

1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale. Recent, full and correct frame-off, nut/bolt restoration during 2014-2016. This is a California, numbers matching car from front to back with barely over 51k original miles.

NCRS data report shows it was built in Norwood, Ohio on 10/07/68. Delivered to Fairway Chevrolet, San Bruno, California where it was sold new. Reportedly not driven while being stored in Nevada over 22 years. The previous owner took nearly 3-years to complete this well documented, fastidious restoration which was completed in 2016. Included with this special Camaro are over 1,700 pictures documenting the restoration and a reverse date-sequenced binder containing $15,400 in part receipts alone. We have included around 1,000 of the restoration pictures here in a link below. The car was factory assembled and restored step-by-step using factory manuals down to the smallest details. The parts list is extensive, over 66 pages.

We understand that this is a no-hit car as all metal still retains GM stamping, such as K11 or H22. Truly a rarity for any 48-year-old classic muscle car. The exterior was stripped, blocked, primed and painted in acrylic with clear coat. Trim, glass, rubber, lenses were either restored or replaced using either mostly if not all NOS or Licensed GM restoration parts. Even the Astro Ventilation window decals match to early production '69s. It's a nice looking car with plenty of attention paid to the smallest of details. There is a cowl hood on the car now however the primer-painted correct hood is available to accompany the car. Another grill is also included if someone believes it was supposed to be painted. It's riding on restored factory Rally's with new Polyglass Goodyear Wide Ovals.

The interior is new and looks incredible. The seating/springs were all rebuilt and the inside is extremely tidy and tight. Everything in the car works beautifully.

Being fully restored, the suspension, power disk braking and handling is just as you'd expect on a brand new 1969 Camaro. Under the hood it's 1969 all over with its correct tar-top R59 Delco Energizer battery, correct flag terminal wiring, hoses, tower clamps, all wiring, oil filter, heat tube, starter, carburetor, alternator, as well as gas, oil and radiator caps, hoses, spark plugs, wires, etc. All period correct, using either new NOS or Licensed GM restoration parts. It even has the correct transverse/crossover exhaust. All components appear to be number matching dated to build. Receipts support the 2014 engine and transmission rebuild. Unfortunately and for unknown reasons, the rebuilt engine is currently showing low oil pressure and running a bit rough. It does not smoke or leak. See the video with audio. Link below.

Comes with additional parts including extra paint, new torque converter, factory manuals, headrests, etc. There is an enormous amount of information here for your review:
