Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1954 Description

1954 CHEVROLET BEL AIR SPORT COUPE

A 2 door hardtop with flip seat backs for access to the rear seat. We had a frame ON restoration done on the car. Basically everything above the under side of the floor/wheel well area was made new. The car has new glass all around, polished stainless, chromed bumpers, new upholstery matching original throughout, and a very nice paint job of original colors. The car has 25312 miles on the odometer. The car has been our family since approximately 1960. While we never drove it on long trips, I suspect the odometer has turned over once, probably not more as we got it at six years old. Three speed shift on the column makes the standard transmission go. The car has the original blue flame engine in it and it runs and drives well. A six volt system provides electrical for the car. The flippers on the doors are in place and functional. The stainless was polished and attached with all new hardware. New emblems matching original are installed and the hood ornament was chromed. The car has the original fender skirts as seen in the photos. The tires are modern radial tires with about 50% (maybe a little more) tread left on them. The brake shoes and cylinders were all replaced. The rear area of the car between the trunk and bumper is suseptable to rust out. This car was no different. We purchased a donor car, same make and year, and cut out the exact area needed for the repair and welded it into this car for a perfect match of material and shape. I have a couple of photos lifting the trunk mat to show the area where the repairs were made. All the body and upholstery work was done by professional shops and is of high quality. Since restoration, the car has been in my garage and has not set outside. There are three areas of paint chip from sloppy hood closure. Two are simple chips and the third a compound chip with damage on the hood and fender. Three photos are included of the chipped areas. They are relatively minor, but need mentioning. I decided not to touch them up and have the new buyer (you) unhappy when they get the car and see the "fixed" areas. I have no means to lift the car to get complete photos of the under side so I stuck the camera under the car at various points and snapped a photo. I believe them to be representative of the condition. There is no rotted or rusted out areas on the car. The underside has the expected surface rust. We have driven the car occasionally to keep it fresh. The car is Bermuda Green over Fiesta Cream. I don't know what more I can say to describe this beauty. If you like original vintage, then this is a great car for you. I look forward to doing business with you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

I am willing to deliver the car up to 500 miles for a dollar per mile if that helps. I can deliver farther if needed but would have to quote you a cost for that. This offer is limited to the lower 48 states. Other than that, the new owner will be responsible for pick up and delivery of the vehicle. A deposit of $1000.00 paid to my PayPal account is required withing 48 hours of the closing of the auction and full and final payment of the balance to be made to me in cash at the time the car is picked up. Thanks.
