Chevrolet Chevelle 1973 Description
Hi thanks for checking out the listing for this chevelle. The current owner purchased this chevelle in December, and is now selling pretty much as he bought it. DVW is not the owner of it, simply helping out with the listing. It is a heck of a find. The wheels/tires shown are not included, the original steel wheels, a set of 5 including the spare, will be installed back on the car for the next owner, they will need new tires. These late 70s Hurst wheels are not available for purchase. They were installed to move the car with.
The cars last registered plates expired in 1984. The car has been stored since inside and outside. Please see the photos of the condition. It appears to be original paint, original body with no accidents.
The only rust is on the driver rear quarter. The rest of the body/underside is rust free with exception of the surface patina rust on the hood and roof where the sun has faded the paint..
This is a well optioned SS454 with swivel buckets, a/c, rear defrost and more.
Anew fuel pump, coil, cap/rotor and water pumpwas installedthe engine started and runs using a gas can as the fuel supply. There currently is no battery in it, but depending on the sale price, that can all be changed to make it start and run, load on a trailer. For Arizona it will of course need full inspection prior to being plated and registered. It think can be registered with classic insurance and emissions is not required.
The tank has been removed and inspected. the inside of the tank is like new. The pick up screen needs to be replaced. The sending unit appears to be in working condition. All the rubber lines should be replaced prior to re-installation.
Note there are a lot of dings and dents in this Chevelle. The trunk was beat up by someone trying to break into the car some 25-30 years ago. It still latches but will need some metal reshaping work.
Lastly$450 worth ofparts have been purchased and are included with the sale: Plug wires, plugs, pcv, valve cover gaskets, fuel filters, HighJacker rear shocks, hd front premium shocks, Front Calipers &pads, brakelineflex hoses, rear wheel cylinders and flex hose, rear shoes, and more.
I will add more to this listing soon.
All offers considered.
Please ask any questions.
Thanks!
