1970 CHEVY II NOVA SS 4 SPEED RESTORABLE DRIVER CAR

No Way to Tell for absolute Certain, but we're pretty sure that this is the real McCoy

300/HP 350 Engine is Stamped "CNJ" with vehicle matching serial stamp(correct for 1970 Nova 300/HP 350 with Standard Trans)

The Engine Block is Casted Dated "A210" (January 21, 1970). The 12/Bolt Rear End is Cast Dated "A260" (January 26, 1970)

with correct 1970 Code Stamp "CBS" (1970 NOVA 3:31 Posi)

Vehile has Anti Sway Bars on both ends. Muncie 4/Speed. I believe this vehicle was originally a Bench Seat car and someone just replaced it with Buckets. The Engine has headers and the LH side rear is leaking. She has a Z28 Style Bow Tie Intake Manifold casted #14044836 with an Edelbrock Performer #1406 Carburetor

Tapped camel Hump Heads. The Engine runs stong and doesn't seem to smoke. Good Oil Pressure. The Muncie FOUR Speed shifts through all the gears without any problems, other than HURST linkage needing fine tuned. 3:31 Posi Rear End Lights em both up and easily does the Highway Watusi!. Power Disc Brakes and Power Steering work fine

Drives Straight. The Ignition system is Mickey Mouse with a couple of toggle switches under the dash for start and ignition. Wiring harness needs some help. The Dashpad has cracks, the headliner is hanging in the rear, the seats need redone

Someone has modified the dash face to accept Four round Gauges

The Tires have plenty of tread and look Great

RUST CORROSION ISSUES

Both Lower 1/4 Panels have cancer issues

Both Front Floorpans have Cancer Issues

A small area in the LH Fender Rear

The Trunk Lid and Upper seam of the Trunk Opening have serious Corrosion Issues

The Rest of the Vehicle metal Looks Pretty Good

Trunk Floor is Good

Windshield is cracked

This apparently was originally Optioned with a Stereo Radio, as the Factory Stereo Kick-Panel Speaker Grilles are still in place

The Exterior Paint is worn out and crow-footed. The Roof is primered black

With the exception of the Rear Bumper, the Brightwork and Trim are in Pretty good shape. Still a Good Driver or a Great restoration Candidate
