Chevrolet Corvette 1966 Description

1966 Chevrolet Convertible Corvette Stingray. This car is magnificent. I have enjoyed this car for over the past 20 years. It drives and feels as strong as the day it left the factory. It has a correct era 327 ci/350 hp motor matched to a 4 speed Muncie transmission. She had undergone a complete frame off restoration a little over 15 years ago, and since then, has been babied and taken out only when the weather is sunny and dry. She is always kept covered in a temperature controlled garage and taken out for the occasional weekend car show. She has the stainless steel side pipes, auxiliary matching red hard top, white convertible top that is in good condition with no tears or scratches, and factory big block hood (came factory on small blocks when special ordered) . The original am/fm wonder bar radio with all knobs intact will come with the vehicle. I took it out years ago, and put in the digital corvette cassette radio in its place. But the original will be provided with the sale, along with the digital corvette radio that is presently installed, along with the high quality corvette car cover. The red paint job with the white sting ray across the hood and scoop cost me over $10K some 15 years ago, and is incredible condition. The black leather interior is in superb condition with no tears or blemishes anywhere. And the interior carpet is immaculate! She is an excellent driver and holds its own in car shows around town and in the local fairs. She is always grabbing the eyes of other drivers and I'm always getting the thumbs up from people who stop next to me. She has always given me enjoyment and the only reason I'm selling her, is because the wife is looking to get a summer place.
