Up for auction this beautiful 1950 3800 Chevy truck, I have owned it for the last 11 years and I put tons of work to it during that time. As you can see it has been chopped 5 1/2 " also the chassis was reduced 5' in length and a beautiful custom made bed 4' long was installed.Everything in this truck was dissembled to the last bolt, sand it to the bare metal then part by part was fixed, primed and 2 tone painted with Red fire metallic code MAZ 25W and Orange Gold metallic code M6013D. I did spend ridiculous amount of hrs in my garage building this truck. I know 100% about the job that has been done because I was there during every step, i have almost 500 pictures and a video.I paid a lot of money in fixing the original 6cyl engine alone that probably would've been easier just to throw a 350 V8 in it but i did't think about it at that time.. now I do!I don't drive this truck no more and now the engine started to smoke a little and the steering wheel it's a little hard now, I think is for being just sitting in my garage all this time collecting dust so i decided to sell it to some one that would enjoy it more than I do.
ENGINE: She has its factory 216 6cyl. All is new in this engine as well, new starter, new generator, distributor, plugs, wires, new aluminum radiator, rebuilt carb, all new houses, belts, all the gaskets, new water pump, thermostat and housing etc etc. This truck doesn't leaks NO fluids at all.
FUEL SYSTEM: we eliminated the original gas tank behind the seat and installed a new aluminum tank in the back, new fuel lines, fuel pump, fuel filters, and rebuild the 1 barrel Carter carburetor.
ELECTRIC SYSTEM: All is new as well, new battery, cables, voltage regulator, coil, new distributor, new generator, headlights, chrome taillights and also we installed an aftermarket turning signal lights system and of course now everything works, even the interior light and the horn!All the wiring front to back it's new. (just the wipers need to be installed, I got everything)
TRANSMISSION: She has its original 4 speed manual transmission, shifts fine and the clutch feels ok
BRAKES: The brake system is factory original (drum brakes) with new brake shoes, springs, master cylinder and wheel cylinders in all wheels, all the brake lines back to front are new as well, (just the emergency brake needs to be fixed). She has a set of 245-50-16 HTR tires on American racing aluminum rims and new shocks.
INTERIOR: The entire interior is very nice, new door panels, door handles and lock system, carpet, new glove box, The entire dash is all complete with cuts or modifications, all the bottoms, controllers, handles all is there w/ NO missing parts.
BODY: Obviously the whole body is in great shape, like I said we dissembled the entire truck to the last bolt fixed everything piece by piece, painted and put it back together, yes you will find some small paint chips here and there that I made by accident when I was putting the truck back together.We also sanded the whole chassis and painted with black anti rust, she has brand new glass bronze tone all the way around, the weather strips, seals, all the rubber for the entire truck in general is also new.
This is a real badass truck that I build over the years but still has its original grainy old truck drive train so, it's no fast but if you are looking for something fast, dependable and more comfortable then just throw a V8 in it with auto trans, all the rest is already there, great chopped hot rod truck!!The truck is now collecting dust in my garage, the license plates already expired and I cancelled the insure long ago so there isn't any point to have it just sitting there going bad, that's why i decided to sell it.MY RESERVE PRICE IS JUST HALF OF THE MONEY THAT I IN INVESTED IN THIS TRUCK.
