Chevrolet Impala 1966 Description
This isa 1966 Impala convertible with a 350 engine that was rebuilt 7 years ago that now has approximately 300 miles on it. 2 Speed power glide transmission that was also rebuilt around the same time. The engine has the heads and intake carburetor from the 327 engine that was in the car. The crank is bad on the 327 but the block should still be good. This is included with the car.Don't know if the 327 engine was the original motor that came with the car, but I can supply the engine number off the block. As I said above the crank is bad, but block should be good.
The odometer shows 21,692 but I am unsure if this is actual miles - it may be 121,692.
You'll notice in the pictures on the passenger side door there is anickel size spot where the paint came off. Other blemishes include: paint bubble on the hood, front nose has a paint chip or 2and the trunk lid has a tiny dimple where itlooks like someone closed it on something. All of these blemishes should be visible on the photos. The convertible top back glass is broken out. The top is good other than the back glass and a tiny hole on the passenger side
This car has cruise control, electric windows and seats, A/C, electric top (top pump and cylinders were replaced 5 years ago). A/C blows cold forabit and then freezes up. It has new 15" tires with the original wheel covers.
The car is a very solid driver, rides and drives very good. I have had the car for 11 years, but really haven't driven it, just worked to get it looking and running good. I am selling my vintage car selection and should have more on eBay soon. Good luck bidding!!
