Chevrolet Camaro 1968 Description

1968 Camaro SS 350, matching numbers. I am the 3rd original owner of the car . It was bought new at Stewart Chevrolet San Fracisco CA. on 2-20-68 I have the protecto plate and original protection plan warranty book, owners manual Etc..and some receipts dating from new into early 70's. The guy i got it from bought it in 1980 and took it to Nebraska where he drove through high school. it was then parked in his parents garage for 25 yrs. before bringing it to oregon he had it for 35 yrs when i had purchased it and was still the 1980 nebraska title showing his name and the previous owners name on it also which was the name on the protecto plate. I had DMV copy the 1980 Nebraska title for me to show documentation. The car still had most of the original paint on it when i got it along with the original 14" steel wheels and SS hub caps. The motor the matching # MU code 295 HP and is now 030 over, comp thumper cam, original Matching dated camel hump 194 fueler heads, dated intak, chrome valve covers and air cleaner are all original to this car, motor has about 2000 mi. on it since rebuilt... TH 350 trans with shift kit... Rear end is the Original 12 bolt BL code 307 ratio (open). It now has new front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors., Options on the car are ...Power steering, Power disc brakes, Tic toc tach and console gauges, tilt wheel, factory wood steering wheel, Bumper guards, Front and rear spoilers.... The car is NOT a original RS ..The previous owner added the hidden headlights some yrs back it's all correct but the headlight doors are not functional as there is no vacuum components.. I had planned to buy it and get them working but never got to i, so if you drive it at night you just have to open them by hand. It has a aluminum Radiator, wheels are Ridler 17x7 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear..2 1/2 exhaust. Floor pans and trunk pan are rock solid and original, The car was taken down to bare meta, Quarter panels were replaced with new skins due to typical rust around the rear wheel wells other then that it is a very solid car. The car is very straight .nice black paint with a little purple pearl mixed in it. new weather strippin, bumpers, interior, wheel, tires, front suspensio, many of the moldings, etc.. All the lights, turn signals, heate, tach, wipers all work, There's a few minor things that dont wor, like the horn, the original AM radio, heater works good but The defrost lever is not working. This is not a 100 point show car but is a very nice ca, it's not flawless but nicer then the average camaro running around the streets...The original rims and SS hub caps go with the car if the buyer wants them...Im only selling the car because i bought another project so this one has to go...THE CAR IS SOLD AS IS... IF YOU HAVE 0 OR BAD FEEDBACK CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED!! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE!! THE CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY SO I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME!
